You’re the shield around me, the mighty power that saves me, and my high place. All I need to do is to call on you, Yahweh, the praiseworthy God. When I do, I’m safe and sound in you— delivered from my foes!”

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Truth settles in the heart of man. It has weight, solidity and firmness. It does not fly around like confetti in your mind. It is not easily swept up in a vortex of confusion and lies. The truth sits solidly, boldly, stubbornly right there in your heart. The truth is the tuning fork and the sound gauge for what you hear. I have given you the sound of truth by which you can gauge and test the other sounds that are being shot at you like arrows, that are bombarding you through the airwaves.
“Here’s what the Lord God says: “Behold, I set in place in Zion a Foundation Stone, fully tested and proven to be faithful and secure. And written upon this precious cornerstone is this: ‘Those who trust in him will not act in haste.’”

You don’t need to get into fear, frustration, confusion or doubt. The truth is not in a hurry. It’s not a in a rush to lead. It owes no one anything. It simply is and will be, come what may. Take a lesson from the voice of truth, from the posture and weight of the truth that I have put in your heart — this is one way the truth sets you free. You have nothing to prove. You have no need to scurry around in anxiety or fear. The truth holds the upper ground, and come what may, the truth will still be here. I want you to learn rest and freedom from the immovability of the truth I have planted firmly in your heart. Rest on this rock, this slab, this firm foundation. War from this place of rest and bold confidence.

You have nothing to lose. You are standing on the truth itself, and freedom is connected to that “nothing to lose” mentality. This is how you can laugh at the days ahead. The battle, the war has already been won. I have given you the blueprint and the upper hand. This is new training ground. This is a new type of warfare. This is not wilderness warfare. This is fulfillment warfare. This is the kind of warfare you can fight in full faith, because you know beyond the shadow of a doubt that all My promises are true, My yes and amen stand forever. Your confidence can’t be shaken — because you have seen the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
“Let the sunrise of your love end our dark night. Break through our clouded dawn again! Only you can satisfy our hearts, filling us with songs of joy to the end of our days. We’ve been overwhelmed with grief; come now and overwhelm us with gladness. Replace our years of trouble with decades of delight. Let us see your miracles again, and let the rising generation see the glorious wonders you’re famous for. O Lord our God, let your sweet beauty rest upon us. Come work with us, and then our works will endure; you will give us success in all we do.”

This is the new training ground. It doesn’t seem like your surrounds have changed? Watch as you recognize that the warfare has changed. Watch as you recognize that your footing has changed. Watch as you realize that all that you have been desiring and all of My promises start finally flowing to you. Start fighting the different war now. Rest is the new test. Confidence and bold, unapologetic, unshakeable, immovable faith and confidence in Me is the new test. Welcome to the new battlefield. This is the testing ground, the warring ground of fulfillment.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord help me to make the shift. Help me to recognize the weight of truth that You have placed inside of me. Help me to war from the place of rest, bold confidence and fulfillment rather than from the place of dryness and lack. Help me to understand how to rest and live in the full freedom that Christ offers.
- Declare, “So if the Son sets you free from sin, then become a true son and be unquestionably free!”
John 8:36 TPT - Decree, King Jesus is the truth. Whom or what shall I fear? I’m moving forward. I will war differently now. I will war from the high ground, with the upper hand. I am standing on the firm foundation of King Jesus. I will not be moved or shaken. I will not partner with anxiety or mistrust. I will be bold and rest in His love. And I will learn to effectively war from the place of total freedom and rest. This is a new day.
