Today’s Reading:
Romans 8
Psalm 27
Psalm 84
2 Corinthians 5
“I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.”
Psalms 27:13-14 NASB1995
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I will give you rest. I will give you deep rest in Me — as you trust and obey, as you believe and receive, as you apprehend all I have for you and overflow with blessings so great, you will not have room enough to receive them. Open up your storehouses. Open up your gates. Prepare to be blessed beyond your wildest imagination. Whereas you have been forsaken and hated with no one passing through, I will make you an everlasting pride, a joy from generation to generation (Isaiah 60:15).
“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, How blessed is the man who trusts in You!”
Psalms 84:11-12 NASB1995
I will fill your storehouses with abundance, and I will bless you with every good thing. Where the grain seemed to just slip through your hands before, now you will have a way to catch it and steward it — and put it to use. The days of My blessings slipping through your fingers are done. Now you will grasp them fully with delight. What had been so illusive will become solid, attainable and yours. You can dream the impossible dream, and then watch Me out-do it. Watch Me return with something bigger, grander, wilder and more magnificent than you could have ever hoped, dreamed or imagined. This is that time. This is always that time for my lovers. Step into it. Receive it. I’m not a God who is far off. I Am the God who is near. I Am right here with you.
“The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!” And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has. We will experience being co-glorified with him provided that we accept his sufferings as our own.”
Romans 8:14-17 TPT
You have not because you ask not. And you receive not because your faith has been like that of a wave tossed man. Today is the day to walk on water. Today is the day to lock your eyes on Mine and not say “what if,” not say “I misheard,” not say, “it’s probably not for Me.” You are good enough. I made you worthy. I said you were worthy. I declared it with My broken, bruised, bloodied body and My outstretched arms on the Cross. Why would you call yourself something I never said? I was crucified, died and rose again, because you were worthy to Me. What more proof can you need? I gave the full measure, so walk in that worthiness. Attain all that is rightfully yours, all that is available to you as an heir and a king. Walk in the days of My favor and grace now. My gifts and love and callings are not for some unattainable future time. They are for you now. Grab ahold of them by faith and walk in the full blessing and anointing that I have for you. The days of My favor are not far off. They are right here in your midst. Apprehend them, and dance in My glory with full joy. My Father’s love is not far off or distant. It is right here. Right now. I have and long to give you everything you could need and more than you can think, hope or imagine. This is that time. That time is always now. Let it be your now. Make it your now by faith. Apprehend it, and don’t let it go. Rejoice. Your time is now. No more waiting. No more delay. Now.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit help me to shake off all of the old mindsets that have kept me from the fullness of what You have for me. Help me to live, abide and delight in You as I advance fully in childlike faith — never wavering in unbelief, never doubting Your goodness or that You will come through for me.
- Declare, “for we walk by faith, not by sight—”
2 Corinthians 5:7 NASB1995 - Decree, The days of up and down, if and maybe, sometimes, and one day faith are done in my life. The Lord is who He says He is — all sufficient, loving, a good, generous Father who, when His children ask for bread He does not give them stones. He delights in delighting me and giving me good gifts. His resources never run dry. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and He is the All Creative One. He is more than able, and He is more than willing to abundantly supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory. I am who He says I am — a child of the One True King, worthy of love and worthy of every good and perfect gift that comes down from the Father of Heavenly Lights. I am a king and a priest unto my God, and I am his representative here on Earth. I can only show others His goodness by what I experience in my life. I can only show others His lavish love, because of what He does in my life. The kids of the King are royalty, not paupers, not lacking bread, not lacking any good thing. We are rich and richly blessed — according to our measure of faith.
