Today’s Reading:
Colossians 2
Colossians 3
Psalm 116
In the same way you received Jesus our Lord and Messiah by faith, continue your journey of faith, progressing further into your union with him! Your spiritual roots go deeply into his life as you are continually infused with strength, encouraged in every way. For you are established in the faith you have absorbed and enriched by your devotion to him!
Colossians 2:6-7 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God of all grace say,
Grace is magnified, and grace is multiplied in this season, in this short period, this dangerous period of the Straits of Tammuz. (To learn more about the Straits of Tammuz, watch this short video.) With the walls high and rocky around you, it may seem as though My grace has thinned, but it is concentrated in this tight and narrow place that I Am leading you. Do not fear missteps. Your focus should be on My voice, My Presence, My nearness and not the world around you.
Beware that no one distracts you or intimidates you in their attempt to lead you away from Christ’s fullness by pretending to be full of wisdom when they’re filled with endless arguments of human logic. For they operate with humanistic and clouded judgments based on the mindset of this world system, and not the anointed truths of the Anointed One. For he is the complete fullness of deity living in human form. And our own completeness is now found in him. We are completely filled with God as Christ’s fullness overflows within us. He is the Head of every kingdom and authority in the universe!
Colossians 2:8-10 TPT
As you focus on Me, the decisions you make, the interactions you have will be informed by My Spirit, will be led and guided by My Spirit. You don’t need to fear failure or wrong turns in this place. This is a protected place of My multiplied grace. Simply put one foot in front of the other. Follow Me closely, and stay in continual connection with Me. Keep your hand in Mine, and you will transition well.
Christ’s resurrection is your resurrection too. This is why we are to yearn for all that is above, for that’s where Christ sits enthroned at the place of all power, honor, and authority! Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm.
Colossians 3:1-2 TPT
You won’t be walking in this tight and narrow place forever. It will give way to promise. It will give way to a spacious and beautiful place. Train your heart and eyes and ears on Me, and nothing can defeat you in this place. Nothing can usurp you, pull the rug out from under you or hoodwink you in this place. Your level of discernment is connected to the closeness by which you follow Me, so stay close.
Let your heart be always guided by the peace of the Anointed One, who called you to peace as part of his one body. And always be thankful.
Colossians 3:15 TPT
Let truth be the great desire of your heart, and you will know if the opportunities, connections and potential alignments that arise in this narrow strait are of Me or if they have been sent by the enemy to draw you off track. This is not difficult, nor should it cause fear or alarm. This is a time to be on alert and to be guided above all by love, by trust in Me and by truth. Keep your hand in Mine. Follow that closely behind Me. I will lead you through this narrow place, and you will emerge more than fine. You will emerge victorious. I long for you to go from victory to victory. That is your portion. Stay close to Me. Prioritize My voice above all others. My magnified and multiplied grace is here to lead you through to the other side.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord to lead you through this narrow place that feels like squeezing.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for Your Presence, Your voice and Your leading. Help me to not get distracted or drawn off-course. I want to be laser-focused on You, so I can move through this tight place victoriously. Thank You for Your magnified and multiplied grace that is working to get me to the other side of this.
- Declare, Now I can say to myself and to all, “Relax and rest, be confident and serene, for the Lord rewards fully those who simply trust in him.” — Psalms 116:7 TPT
- Decree, The Lord’s magnified and multiplied grace is here in this narrow place and time of squeezing. He is with me, guiding me, and I have nothing to fear. As I follow closely behind Him, with my hand in His, I will not be drawn off-track into distraction, poor decisions, or bad alignments. This tight squeeze of a place will give way to a spacious place of promise. Victory is my portion.
