Psalm 33
It’s time to sing and shout for joy! Go ahead, all you redeemed ones, do it! Praise him with all you have, for praise looks lovely on the lips of God’s devoted lovers. Play the guitar as you lift your praises loaded with thanksgiving. Sing and make joyous music with all you’ve got inside. Compose new melodies that release new praises to the Lord. Play his praises on instruments with the anointing and skill he gives you. Sing and shout with passion; make a spectacular sound of joy— For God’s Word is something to sing about! He is true to his promises, his word can be trusted, and everything he does is reliable and right.
Psalms 33:1-4 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Marxist tools are failing. Marxist weapons are breaking down and falling apart in the midst of battle. The worship and delight in Me, the praise of Me, the celebration of Me is bringing rapid deterioration to the weapons of Marxism — to the sickle meant to harvest the youth and the weak and vulnerable for their causes of evil, immorality, rot and decay. The conditions created by your praise, by your celebration, by your warfare worship that is pure and overflowing with My joy creates very poor conditions for these weapons and tools of the enemy. Just as salt water erodes, rusts and disintegrates, so do the sounds and frequencies of your praises cause great deterioration to the weapons of the enemy.
The narrative weapons are failing. The words are turning from sharp and effective to mealy garble that the speakers of those words and the deliverers of that message even choke on.
Blessed and prosperous is that nation who has God as their Lord! They will be the people he has chosen for his own. The Lord looks over us from where he rules in heaven. Gazing into every heart from his lofty dwelling place, he observes all the peoples of the earth. The Creator of our hearts considers and examines everything we do. Even if a king had the best-equipped army, it would never be enough to save him. Even if the best warrior went to battle, he could not be saved simply by his strength alone. Human strength and the weapons of man are false hopes for victory; they may seem mighty, but they will always disappoint.
Psalms 33:12-17 TPT
Your worship, your praise, your joyful focus on Me and complete icing out of the enemy’s advances is creating an atmosphere of freedom. That atmosphere of freedom is causing rapid and precipitous deterioration of the enemy’s choicest weapons, most trusted and favorite weapons. As you worship, he is losing ground. As you worship, his entire arsenal is rusting, crumbling and breaking in brittleness. It’s like these ancient long trusted weapons are breaking down at such a rapid pace that there’s failure after failure in the enemy’s warring strikes. The blows that once landed with force are now laughable failures, and the attempts to smear and kick up mud fall flat and even make the messenger look pathetic. Your worship is embarrassing the cause of the enemy, destroying the works and the weapons of the enemy. Keep up that worship. Keep up that praise, and see how this entire organized crime unit, this syndicate, this web experiences a rapid deterioration and falls in utter defeat. Worship is the way. Worship is the overcoming weapon. Praise is your covering. Watch as your praise continues to rise in unceasing chorus and unending gladness, gratitude and joy — watch as it causes the works of the enemy to crumble. Watch as the words in their mouth sent against you as curses, accusations and enchantments turn to gravel in their mouths.
The Lord alone is our radiant hope and we trust in him with all our hearts. His wraparound presence will strengthen us. As we trust, we rejoice with an uncontained joy flowing from Yahweh! Let your love and steadfast kindness overshadow us continually, for we trust and we wait upon you!
Psalms 33:20-22 TPT
This is how we fight our war, leading with the superior weapon of praise — the always superior, always potent weapon of true, pure praise. You will see the warring of the enemy, the works of the enemy, the words and the assaults of the enemy rapidly deteriorate and fall to the ground. He will lose as you praise. This is the way we win at war.
How to Respond
- Worship the Lord without ceasing.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for showing us the keys to win at war. Thank You for being our Comforter, the One who leads us into all truth and our wraparound shield. Thank You for going before us in battle, as we obey You and march out in praise. Let us not be bothered by the flying arrows or the other weapons sent to terrorize and destroy us. As we focus on You, as we exalt You, we will see the enemy’s weapons fail, and we will see them fall in total defeat.
- Declare, “If anyone dares to stir up strife against you, it is not from me! Those who challenge you will go down in defeat. See, I am the one who created the craftsman who fans the coals into a fire and forges a weapon fit for its purpose, and I am the one who created the destroyer to destroy. But I promise you, no weapon meant to hurt you will succeed, and you will refute every accusing word spoken against you. This promise is the inheritance of Yahweh’s servants, and their vindication is from me,” says Yahweh.
Isaiah 54:15-17 TPT - Decree, Our God is an all-consuming fire. He is worthy of all glory, honor and praise. I will worship and praise the Lord. I will not be distracted or dismayed by anything I see around me. I will diligently and joyfully wield my weapon of praise. It is charging the atmosphere with freedom, and that is a great destructive force to the lying Marxist tools of the enemy. Every weapon of the enemy, every assault, curse and incantation will turn to gravel and every word spoken against the Lord God Almighty or His people will cause the enemy to sputter, choke and fall in defeat.
