Today’s Reading:
Psalms 18
Psalms 149
John 10
A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect —life in its fullness until you overflow!“
John 10:10 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
The enemy has been the thief of dreams. So many dreams he has scattered, shattered and killed. He has sown so many tares among the good planting of your dreams, you have wondered if you will ever see the fruit or if the fruit will be choked out completely, forever. Dreams have felt like death to many. To many, to ask them to dream is like asking them to look into an open casket. It’s heart wrenching and even cruel. But I say to you, dream on. The only way out is up. Dream on. Look past the dream that’s lying there in the open casket. Look up to the heavens where your help comes from.
Break forth with dancing! Make music and sing God’s praises with the rhythm of drums! For he enjoys his faithful lovers. He adorns the humble with his beauty, and he loves to give them victory. His godly lovers triumph in the glory of God, and their joyful praises will rise even while others sleep.
Psalms 149:3-5 TPT
I Am healing dreams. I Am resurrecting dreams. I Am making your polluted and war-torn fields of dreams raise to life, to health and to fruitfulness. What the enemy meant for evil, for deep evil, I will use for good. The way I turn this around in your life will be a great crushing of that serpent’s head underneath your feet. What he meant to crush you, to take you out, to leave you disillusioned, paralyzed and broken, I will cause to be the victory song that you sing and dance to as you crush him underneath your feet. This is the time of My vengeance on the enemy. This is the time of My revenge on Your behalf. I’m moving, I’m warring and I Am restoring.
God’s high and holy praises fill their mouths, for their shouted praises are their weapons of war! These warring weapons will bring vengeance on the nations and every resistant power— to bind kings with chains and rulers with iron shackles. Praise-filled warriors will enforce the judgment decreed against their enemies. This is the honor he gives to all his godly lovers. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Psalms 149:6-9 TPT
Do rise up oh warrior. However broken, however bruised, however disillusioned and down and out, rise up My warrior, My beloved, My child. And dance on injustice. My recompense will meet you. My flood of goodness will cover you. But you must rise as I war on your behalf. You must sing songs of warfare worship as you dance the dance that crushes the head of the enemy and brings his defeat.
I’m setting you up for a turnaround. I’m setting you up for an 11th hour victory. They will call it an astonishing, breathtaking, completely out of nowhere comeback. Get up and sing that victory song. War with your worship. Defeat is not final. I will crush defeat and resurrect dreams where you thought all was lost. This is the time of powerful, sudden reversals. You will dance upon injustice. You will join me in victory.
How to Respond
- Choose to believe the good word and the promise of the Lord.
- Pray, Holy Spirit, help me to stir up my most holy faith. Help me to look past the seemingly dead, broken and destroyed dreams and look to You — the author and perfecter of my faith. You are where my help comes from. You are my Warrior King, my Faithful Judge and my Redeemer. Come and war on my behalf Lord. I will worship and dance to invite You to war for me.
- Declare, God, you have wrapped me in power and made my way perfect. Through you I ascend to the highest peaks to stand strong and secure in you. You’ve trained me with the weapons of warfare-worship; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You empower me for victory with your wraparound presence. Your power within makes me strong to subdue. By stooping down in gentleness, you made me great! You’ve set me free, and now I’m standing complete, ready to fight some more! — Psalms 18:32-36 TPT
- Decree, I will rise up as a warrior, a beloved child of the Lord’s. I am rising up in faith, looking above the place of my defeated and dead dreams to where my help comes from — the Maker of Heaven and Earth. As I sing songs of warfare worship over my dead and defeated dreams, the Lord will war on my behalf. And as I dance upon the injustices of the enemy in my life, the Lord will cause me to crush the head of that serpent the devil, underneath my feet. I will see my dreams resurrected. I will live in victory with the Most High.
