Today’s Reading:
Hebrews 10
Hebrews 11
Lamentations 3

So now wrap your heart tightly around the hope that lives within us, knowing that God always keeps his promises!
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭23‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
My grace has met your hope in the dark place of testing, of pressure and squeezing, and that hope will not be disappointed. That hope is emerging as a diamond, a strong, tangible substance. No one could see this hope being pressed down, tested and put under immense pressure. Some could perceive a testing, but no one could understand the intensity and the pressure and the weight of the testing through which I have put your hope. But still it glistened.

You need the strength of endurance to reveal the poetry of God’s will and then you receive the promise in full. For soon and very soon, “The One who is appearing will come without delay!” And he also says, “My righteous ones will live from my faith. But if fear holds them back, my soul is not content with them!” But we are certainly not those who are held back by fear and perish; we are among those who have faith and experience true life!
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭36‬-‭39‬ ‭TPT‬‬

And now My grace has met your hope, and I have extracted it from that pressurized, dark place of testing. It is out here in the light of day, sparkling, solid, a diamond — pure and clear — with the strong scent of a rose, because your testing and squeezing has made you the fragrance of King Jesus, the Rose of Sharon. You have come out of that testing. And now you can hold, and you will hold the substance of your hope in your hands.

Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen. This testimony of faith is what previous generations were commended for.
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭TPT‬‬

You will hold what faith has produced in your hands. It will be on display in your presence for all to see. And none will be able to deny that this was produced in the squeezing, in the dark place, and none will be able to deny that what has emerged from that place of testing, extreme pressure and squeezing is something that could not have been manufactured. It was formed in the place of pressure and testing, and it is produced in no other way. Look now and see, enjoy, taste, smell and delight in the substance of what your hope, your faith has produced. It is tangible. It is real. It is yours, and no one can take it away.

How to Respond

  • Rejoice in the Lord and be in an attitude of thanksgiving and continual praise!
  • Pray, Lord, thank You that this time of extreme pressure, squeezing and testing of my hope has drawn to an end. Thank You that Your grace has met my hope, and it has produced something beautiful and substantial — tangible and real. Help me to recognize, guard and steward the gift that my hope and faith produced with Your grace.
  • Declare, Yahweh’s tender mercies have no end, and the kindness of his endless love is never exhausted. New, fresh mercies greet me with every sunrise. So wonderfully great is your faithfulness! I tell my soul, “Yahweh is my abundant portion. I need nothing more. So, I will put all my hope in him.” Yahweh is always good to all who trust in him, to the soul who searches for him. It is always good to hope, quietly waiting for Yahweh’s deliverance.
    ‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭22‬-‭26‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, The Lord’s grace has met my hope, and He has extracted it from that dark place of intense pressure and squeezing. What He has brought out of that place is something of extraordinary value, clarity and beauty. It is tangible and real. It is the substance of what I have hoped for. It is what my faith along with His grace has produced. I will rejoice and delight in it, and I will guard it and steward it well.
