So go ahead, everyone, and shout out your praises with joy! Break out of the box and let loose with the most joyous sound of praise! Sing your melody of praise to the Lord and make music like never before! Blow those trumpets and shofars! Shout with joyous triumph before King Yahweh! Let the ocean’s waves join in the chorus with their roaring praise until everyone everywhere shouts out in unison, “Glory to the Lord!” Let the rivers and streams clap with applause as the mountains rise in a standing ovation to join the mighty choir of exaltation. Look! Here he comes! The Lord and judge of all the earth! He’s coming to make things right and to do it fair and square. And everyone will see that he does all things well!

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
The truth is rumbling from down below. You will sense it in your heart. You will feel the truth in your heart even as it begins to rumble in far and dark, hidden places. Worship through the rumbling. It will cause light to burst through the darkness. It will cause promise to be birthed from a place that looked like hopelessness and death. Worship breaks the power of the hiddenness, darkness, covering, silence and shame that empowers and emboldens the enemy.
Yahweh is King over all! Everyone trembles in awe before him. He rules enthroned between the wings of the cherubim. So let the earth shake and quake in wonder before him! For Yahweh is great and glorious in the midst of his Zion-people. He is exalted above all! Let everyone praise this breathtaking God, for he is holy. A lover of justice is our mighty King; he is right in all his ways. He insists on being fair to all, promoting true justice and righteousness in Jacob. So everyone, exalt the Lord our God facedown before his glory-throne, for he is great and holy.

Worship causes that prowling one to run from your domain. Worship welcomes the light, invites the birthing of promise and sets the stage for miracles. Worship causes the enemy to flee. These dark cavernous places where the enemy has ruled will be flooded with light. They will burst forth with all that has been hidden and all those who have been hidden in their depths, and promise will be birthed from this place. Truth will be illuminated in a way that none can ignore or diminish. And lives once hidden will sparkle like the sun. Watch as joy and life burst forth from a place that was hopeless, hidden and like a grave. Life and promise will burst forth. Joy and release from captivity will burst forth at the sound of My Name through your worship.
God has his praying priests, like Moses, Aaron, and Samuel, who all interceded, asking God for help. God heard their cries and came to their rescue. He spoke to them from the pillar of clouds, and they followed his instructions, doing everything he told them. God, the great forgiver, answered their prayers, yet he would punish them when they went astray. Keep exalting the Lord our God facedown before his glory-throne, for he is great and holy!
Psalms 99:6-9 TPT
Your worship will not only cause blessing and life and light and promise and a new day to shine upon you. It will bring freedom to the captives. It will open the hidden and concealed places and cause truth and promise to come forth from the darkness. Your worship does so much more than you can perceive. Open your eyes to see and discern. Open your spiritual eyes to understand the power I have put in your sound, in your voice, in the words you decree and the songs you sing. You are my messenger of hope. Use your worship to set the captives free.
How to Respond
- Worship the Lord continually.
- Pray, Lord give me eyes to see and discern what is happening in the spirit realm. I want to perceive and understand the impact that my worship has to break the power of darkness and to set captives free, to cause truth to come forth and promises to emerge from a place that looked like hopelessness and death. Let me use my voice, my decrees, my song and my sound to worship you and accomplish all that You have purposed.
- Declare, Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting And His faithfulness to all generations.
Psalms 100:4-5 NASB1995 - Decree, I will worship the Lord and sing praises to His Holy Name. I will not be silenced or ashamed. I will boldly decree the Word and the Name of the Lord. I will sing songs and release a sound that honors the King of glory and sets captives free, that causes truth and promise to emerge from a place of hopelessness, death and despair.
