Today’s Reading:
Exodus 19
John 14
2 Corinthians 3
Psalm 17

“Those who truly love me are those who obey my commands. Whoever passionately loves me will be passionately loved by my Father. And I will passionately love him in return and will reveal myself to him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭21‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Trust and obey. Rest your head upon My chest. Be so close you can hear and perceive My heartbeat. I hold you in the palm of My hand. Whom or what shall you fear? Where shall you go that I don’t send you? Where shall you turn if not to Me? To whom shall you look and lift your face if not to Me, the Lord of All Creation, including the Heavens and the Earth?

And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke because the Lord descended upon it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked violently. When the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and God answered him with thunder. The Lord came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain; and the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭19‬:‭17‬-‭20‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Yours is a Moses anointing. You ascend My holy mountain. You approach me with an unveiled face. You commune with Me and dance with Me, and I have positioned you as one to lead My people forward from this place. Because of what you’ve seen and experienced in Me, I have different expectations for you. I expect more from you. Draw near to Me, and I will draw near to you. Trust in Me, and I will continue to place great trust in you. Have faith in Me. I have faith in you. I Am the author and perfecter of your faith. I see the end from the beginning, and I have such faith, such hope, such expectations for you. Follow Me. Get your feet into the tracks of My chariot wheels, and do not stray off course. I expect you to obey My voice. I expect you to trust Me by instinct and by choice.

Jesus replied, “Loving me empowers you to obey my word. And my Father will love you so deeply that we will come to you and make you our dwelling place.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭23‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Let My love flood you, wash over you and keep you. It is the greatest protective force. It is the greatest saving force. It is the very force behind creation. It holds all things together. My love does that. Will it not cover you today? Will it not advance you this year? Will it not bring you forward day by day to a new day each day with new challenges and opportunities? It is My love that has laid your path and set your course. Trust Me. Obey Me. Follow Me. This is My perfect will.

How to Respond

  • Rest in the Lord. Trust and obey Him quickly and completely.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit help me to keep short accounts. I want to live in purity and truth, so I’m not tempted to pull away from You. Help me to keep My ear to your chest and simply trust with the faith and ease of a child in the arms of her loving father. Help me to be one who reflexively obeys Your Word, Your instruction and Your commands. I want to follow You so very closely. Help me to be one who can say, follow me as I follow the Lord.
  • Declare, For in a visitation of the night you inspected my heart and refined my soul in fire until nothing vile was found in me. I will not sin with my words. Following your word has kept me from wrong. Your ways have molded my footsteps, keeping me from going down the paths of the violent. My steps follow in the tracks of your chariot wheels, always staying in their path, never straying from your way. You will answer me, God; I know you always will. Hear my words like you always do as you listen to my every prayer.
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭17‬:‭3‬-‭6‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Declare, Now, the “Lord” I’m referring to is the Holy Spirit, and wherever he is Lord, there is freedom. We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, The Lord has higher expectations for His lovers, for those who have drawn close to Him, who have ascended the highest peaks with Him, who have communed with Him and who hear His voice. We are the ones He has positioned to lead His people in the days ahead. He expects unwavering trust and obedience from us.
