Zechariah 12
Make very sure that you never refuse to listen to God when he speaks! For the God who spoke on earth from Sinai is the same God who now speaks from heaven. Those who heard him speak his living Word on earth found nowhere to hide, so what chance is there for us to escape if we turn our backs on God and refuse to hear his warnings as he speaks from heaven? The earth was rocked at the sound of his voice from the mountain, but now he has promised, “Once and for all I will not only shake the systems of the world, but also the unseen powers in the heavenly realm!”
Hebrews 12:25-26 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
My Spirit roars. It is terrifying the enemy and causing them to leave the territory I have marked out as Mine for My family. And this same roar is drawing My little ones home. It is drawing My wandering ones home to Me. My roar will shake and rattle everything that can be shaken and rattled, both on the inside and on the outside. Scaffoldings of understanding built by darkness in the hearts, lives and minds of My people will shatter at my roar. Entire structures of falsity, entire constructs built on lies that reside in the hearts and minds and inside the lives of My people will crumble, will disintegrate and will fall. This is an awakening more powerful and startling than any other before it.
Now this phrase “once and for all” clearly indicates the final removal of things that are shaking, that is, the old order, so only what is unshakable will remain.

Hearts will be shattered and rearranged in an instant. Hearts of stone will be made into hearts of flesh in an instant. Eyes will see, and deep sounds of repentance and sorrowful repentance will rule the day. Mourning of former behaviors, mindsets, beliefs and actions will cause many to fall facedown at My altar wherever they are, and they will not be able to get up or move forward for a long period of time. This is not the revivals of TV. This is not the jubilant manufactured show and sound. Revival will first be seen by great mourning, as true recognition of sin, of rebellion, of alignment with lies and for even despising My Son and His Holy Name. This is a garment rending repentance revival.
“But I will pour out over the rulers and people of Jerusalem the Spirit of Grace and the Spirit of Prayer. And they will gaze upon me, the Pierced One. They will mourn for the one they pierced as though for an only child and weep bitterly for him as people weep for a firstborn child. In that day, the mourning in Jerusalem will be as great as the mourning for Hadad Rimmon in the Plain of Megiddo. And the people of the land will mourn each clan by itself and their women by themselves: The clan of David’s family and their women, the clan of Nathan’s family and their women, the clan of Levi’s family and their women, the clan of Shimei’s family and their women, and all the rest of the clans and their women.”

Yes, jubilation, recovery, joy and beautiful sounds of worship will come. But the first signs are the mourning of repentance. This is a revival marked by true, deep, cutting repentance. They will be drawn in by the sound of My roar. My wandering cubs, My lost little ones — scrappy, dirty and misled — they will come back to Me at the sound of My earth-shaking, atmosphere-piercing roar. And the enemy will flee. Nothing will stop these lost little ones from coming back home to Me, their Dad and King.
How to Respond
- Worship the Lord, and exalt His Holy Name.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come as You have said. Roar as You have said. Cause the enemy to flee and draw Your little, lost, wandering and rebellious ones home to You. Bring the revival of repentance. Let it start with me.
- Declare, Since we are receiving our rights to an unshakable kingdom we should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heart as we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe. For our God is a holy, devouring fire!
Hebrews 12:28-29 TPT - Decree, The Lord is moving powerfully. He is roaring with a roar that is shaking and rattling everything that can be shaken and rattled — on the inside of people and in the natural realm. His roar is causing the enemy to scatter and flee, and its sound is drawing His little ones home to Him. This is the great repentance revival.
