No wonder I’m so glad; I can’t keep it in! Lord, I’m shouting with glee over all you’ve done, for all you’ve done for me: what mighty miracles and your power at work—just to name a few! Depths of purpose and layers of meaning saturate everything you do. Such amazing mysteries are found within every miracle that nearly everyone seems to miss. Those with no discernment can never really discover the deep and glorious secrets hidden in your ways.
Psalms 92:4-6 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Grace is invading new territory. My grace is moving like a a fully outfitted, fully mobilized army and is invading new territory in which I have determined and marked out for you to advance and to occupy. My grace invasion is taking the place I have determined and designated to be the territory and the land of your great, wide occupation. Right now it appears to be a nicely sized, modest parcel of space, of land; but you have no idea of the layers I mean for you to recover, influence and redeem. Depths and great layers beneath the place I have called you to stand need to be redeemed. They are set apart in Me for redemption.
Why would you bother with puny, mortal man or care about human beings? Yet what honor you have given to men, created only a little lower than Elohim, crowned with glory and magnificence. You have delegated to them rulership over all you have made, with everything under their authority, placing earth itself under the feet of your image-bearers. All the created order and every living thing of the earth, sky, and sea— the wildest beasts and all that move in the paths of the sea — everything is in submission to Adam’s sons.
Psalms 8:4-8 TPT
While the territory and the place I Am providing by the invasion and the forward securing of My grace army looks approachable and manageable, you have no concept of the depth of recovery to which I Am commissioning you. So much will lie beneath your feet. These layers are great striations and demarcations of belief systems that have ancient roots and must be redeemed and restored. The Earth is groaning. Creation is groaning; and the place, the territory that I have marked out and designated for your occupation has great depths to it, many layers of depths in need of redemption. Do not look at this work, this occupation, this establishment as a one-dimensional, surface-layer work. It will require great depths of service, of ministry, of revelation and repentance to bring healing, health, restoration and full redemption to this land.
God, everyone sees your goodness, for your tender love is blended into everything you do. Everything you have made will praise you, fulfilling its purpose. And all your godly ones will be found bowing before you. They will tell the world of the lavish splendor of your kingdom and preach about your limitless power. They will demonstrate for all to see your miracles of might and reveal the glorious majesty of your kingdom.
Psalms 145:9-12 TPT
Don’t get overly confident about what it will take to occupy this space. Your eyes and heart have only perceived the surface. But soon I will be calling you to ministry, to work — to bring healing and revelation that reaches layers far, far, far beneath the surface. This is not a one- dimensional parcel set aside and graced for your occupation. The work will go much, much, much deeper. Hearts will heal. Homes will heal. Generations will heal and come into alignment with Me, with My plan, My Kingdom. This is not a surface-level work. It goes deep, and it will restore the generations. It will bring proper alignment and realignment with Me. This is for the healing of the nations. Your work is in the parcel that My grace has invaded for you. Do not think it a small place. Yours is a deep work.
How to Respond
- Ask the Lord for eyes to see the territory His grace has taken before you that you are meant to occupy.
- Pray, Holy Spirit help me to understand the calling you have on me and the commissioning for service You have placed on my life. Help me to take it seriously and to seek You for wisdom in how to occupy and how to minister here in a way that redeems and restores far beneath the surface.
- Declare, Yes! He will bless his devoted lovers who bow before him, no matter who they are. God himself will fill you with more. Blessings upon blessings will be heaped upon you and upon your children from the maker of heaven and earth, the very God who made you! The heavens belong to our God; they are his alone, but he has given us the earth and put us in charge. —Psalms 115:13-16 TPT
- Decree, The Lord’s great and powerful grace that subdues has gone before me to clear a space and a territory upon which I am to occupy. I will not look at this as a surface-level, one-dimensional occupation. I will seek the Lord diligently for wisdom, strategy and revelation on how to bring healing, redemption and restoration that reaches far beneath the surface and realigns hearts, homes, families and generations with Christ Jesus and His Kingdom.
