Listen, my radiant one— if you ever lose sight of me, just follow in my footsteps where I lead my lovers. Come with your burdens and cares. Come to the place near the sanctuary of my shepherds. My dearest one, let me tell you how I see you— you are so thrilling to me. To gaze upon you is like looking at one of Pharaoh’s finest horses — a strong, regal steed pulling his royal chariot. Your tender cheeks are beautiful — your earrings and gem-laden necklaces set them ablaze. We will enhance your beauty, with golden ornaments studded with silver.
Song of Songs 1:8-11 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God of all truth say,
The place of intimacy with Me is fertile ground for change. Your desire for Me, your burning for Me will cause you to change your posture, your position and the way you see things. The desires of your heart, the worship and praise of your lips will drive you into the place of intimacy with Me. And the place of your intimacy with Me will become the place of wholesale change. Remarkable change will be birthed from this place.
Who is this one? She arises out of her desert, clinging to her beloved. When I awakened you under the apple tree, as you were feasting upon me, I awakened your innermost being with the travail of birth as you longed for more of me. Fasten me upon your heart as a seal of fire forevermore. This living, consuming flame will seal you as my prisoner of love. My passion is stronger than the chains of death and the grave, all consuming as the very flashes of fire from the burning heart of God. Place this fierce, unrelenting fire over your entire being. Rivers of pain and persecution will never extinguish this flame. Endless floods will be unable to quench this raging fire that burns within you. Everything will be consumed. It will stop at nothing as you yield everything to this furious fire until it won’t even seem to you like a sacrifice anymore.
Song of Songs 8:5-7 TPT
In this place, from this place you will emerge with strength and childlike wonder — with your faith and your countenance totally renewed. Fire will surround you. You will be like a phoenix rising from the ashes, except you will emerge a burning one. And the residue of the place of your intimacy with Me will become a place of healing for many. It will become a place of total restoration for lost causes, for those who the enemy has taken out, has rendered helpless, weak and sidelined. The residue of the place of your intimacy with Me will be a bed of restoration and healing for them. This is a holy thing. This is a promise and a reality to carry with reverence and with solemn understanding. Do not neglect the place of intimacy with Me. Do not reject the invitations to spend time with Me. What I impart there to you, what happens in that place will empower you, will strengthen you and will leave an overflow that carries healing. It won’t come any other way.
How beautiful on the mountains are the sandaled feet of this one bringing such good news. You are truly royalty! The way you walk so gracefully in my ways displays such dignity. You are truly the poetry of God—his very handiwork. Out of your innermost being is flowing the fullness of my Spirit— never failing to satisfy. Within your womb there is a birthing of harvest wheat; they are the sons and daughters nurtured by the purity you impart. How gracious you have become! Your life stands tall as a tower, like a shining light on a hill. Your revelation eyes are pure, like pools of refreshing — sparkling light for a multitude. Such discernment surrounds you, protecting you from the enemy’s advance. Redeeming love crowns you as royalty. Your thoughts are full of life, wisdom, and virtue. Even a king is held captive by your beauty.
Song of Songs 7:1-5 TPT
What if I told you the healing of nations was possible, but it hinged on the place and passion of your deep intimacy with Me? Because that is the truth. The healing of the nations does in fact hinge — it is contingent on your deep commitment to and ministering to and attending to the place of intimacy with Me. It’s where all things are made new, starting with you.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit stir up a fire in me. Help me to return to and make my dwelling place the place of my intimacy with You. Thank You that You are the place of restoration. You are the place where my faith and my childlike wonder are made new. You are the One who has healing in His wings. Lord, I long to be one who is so entwined as one with You, who is so steeped in Your Presence that I can impart Your healing touch wherever I go. Thank You Lord.
- Declare, Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.
Isaiah 30:18 NASB1995 - Decree, The healing of the nations depends on my commitment to and my pursuit of intimacy with the Lord. I will pursue the Lord in the secret place. I will minister to Him there, and He will change me. He will restore and renew me, and He will make me like Him. Then His fountain of life and healing will flow freely from me.
