Today’s Reading:
Matthew 5
Matthew 7
1 Peter 5
Psalm 18

Live carefree before God; he is most careful with you.
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬ ‭MSG‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
You have a tightrope to walk. The way for you has become very narrow. It appears very narrow to those who are watching you, observing you, even living around you. But if they were to zoom in, they would see a limitless, spacious place. Don’t feel the need to explain the spaciousness of your life to others. Don’t waste your breath. Just live freely. Just live openly. Live carefree. And they will be confounded. They will wonder, “How does this one who seems to walk in such a narrow way have so much freedom? I am the one who has all of this space, yet I am bound in chains and weighted down with heavy burdens. What is it about walking that narrow way that brings freedom? It looks a whole lot freer out here. But I don’t feel free.” And they will come to you and ask you about it.

”So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬ ‭TPT‬‬

There is no need to evangelize your kind of freedom. It is a magnetic gift that will draw to you those who are hungry, who are curious, who are bound and weighted down. I’m not saying that you should not leave breadcrumbs to those in your path about the goodness of your God. Your narrow life, your narrow walk has you gushing this truth like a mobile sprinkler system. Continually. What I’m saying is, I will be drawing people to you, and they will come because they are confounded by the way you live your life and the freedom, the immense and tremendous, seemingly implausible freedom you have found on this narrow way. You won’t have to manufacture interest in it. You won’t have to drum up an audience. I will draw them to you, because the spacious place I have created for you in this narrow way is highly magnetic. They will come.

“The narrow gate and the difficult way leads to eternal life—so few even find it!”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭14‬ ‭TPT‬‬

You walk the narrow way. You sprinkle the world around you with testimonies of My favor, My Presence, My goodness and love. Live spaciously in this limitless place I have given you, and watch how so very many come. They will come. I have given you a magnetic field. They will come.

How to Respond

  • Trust the Lord and live your life in the beautiful way He has put it in your heart to live.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit, guide me along this narrow way. Thank You that You are my guide, my light, my shield and my counselor. Help me to live in a way that inspires curiosity, hunger and interest in You. Help me to live in complete freedom, doing exactly what You’ve called me to do.
  • Declare, His love broke open the way, and he brought me into a beautiful, broad place. He rescued me—because his delight is in me! He rewarded me for doing what’s right and staying pure. I will follow his commands and I’ll not sin by ceasing to follow him, no matter what. For I’ve kept my eyes focused on his righteous words, and I’ve obeyed everything that he’s told me to do. I’ve been blameless before him and followed all his ways, keeping my heart pure. And so Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness, because I kept my heart clean before his eyes.
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18‬:‭19‬-‭24‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, I will walk the narrow way the Lord has set before me, and I will delight in the absolute limitlessness He has given me here. The Lord loves contradictions; it is one of the ways He draws people to Himself. He is both immeasurably strong and gentle. He has caused the life and work He has given me to be heavily magnetized, so as I walk faithfully in it, He will draw many to me. And I will point them to Him. I will live as a mobile sprinkler system that continually spouts testimonies and praises of His goodness, His faithfulness, His kindness and redemption. Evangelism in this time will look very different than I thought. It will be an extension and an outpouring of my life.
