Psalm 27
Psalm 30
And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me, and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the Lord.
Psalm 27:6 ESV
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
The clouds of disappointment, uncertainty, loneliness and hope deferred have hovered over your heart, have darkened your perspective, have clouded your life. But I Am shining My light from above to pierce through the darkness, to dispel and displace the darkness and to break up the clouds that have been lingering and hovering there for so long, you could hardly even perceive them any more.
O Lord, you have brought up my soul from Sheol; you restored me to life from among those who go down to the pit.
Psalm 30:3 ESV
Perfection did not break the clouds. Rules, plans, structure and order did not break those clouds. Prayer penetrated the clouds from below but did not fully dismantle them. It’s My love that is breaking the clouds of darkness that have hovered over your heart and have become so familiar that you could no longer even perceive them. My love is breaking through and breaking those dark clouds once and for all. My love is fully dismantling, disrupting and breaking through. It’s breaking them up so they can never gather in this way again.
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
Psalm 30:11-12 ESV
Fulfillment is here. A lifted countenance is here. Hope receiving what it has been pulling on from Heaven is here. This is a new day. Watch as the light of My love dispels the darkness from these heavy clouds and brings you into the light of a brand new day. You may not recognize yourself for a while without those clouds. People will know that you have been kissed by the goodness of God by the difference they see in you. Hope restored, hope fulfilled and joy uncontainable are what you will experience as I break the clouds and speak over you the words, “No more delay!”
How to Respond
- Don’t cling to the clouds that cover your heart like a shroud. Release your grip on them, and allow the light of the Lord’s love to break them up and send them away.
- Look with expectancy each day.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Do as You have said. Cause the light of Your love to break through and dispel the dark clouds that have been surrounding my heart. I want see and experience Your goodness and fulfillment in my life. I want to see protracted delay and hope deferred completely shattered. I desire to live in full joy as Your divine timing comes into its moment in my life.
- Declare, I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!
Psalm 27:13-14 ESV - Decree, The light of the Lord’s love is breaking through the darkness and the clouds that have long surrounded my heart. He is breaking off disappointment, delay and hope deferred. And He is bringing me into divine timing, full joy and fulfillment. This is a new day.
