Today’s Reading:
Psalm 127
Philippians 2
Nehemiah 2
Isaiah 54
Psalm 90
If God’s grace doesn’t help the builders, they will labor in vain to build a house. If God’s mercy doesn’t protect the city, all the sentries will circle it in vain. It really is senseless to work so hard from early morning till late at night, toiling to make a living for fear of not having enough. God can provide for his devoted lovers even while they sleep!
Psalms 127:1-2 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
The weightiness of the grace that I Am dropping into your life will astound you. Many think of grace as ethereal, light and airy, and it sometimes is. But the grace I Am dropping into your life is weighty, impenetrable and strong. It is the material with which you will build. This grace is that with which you shall build. The grace is heavy, and you cannot come anywhere close to carrying it all at once. But I have supplied it in small parcels that are all part of this massive package called grace being dropped in your life. And you will lift one maybe two at a time. These small divisions of grace are like bricks with which to build.
God will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases him.
Philippians 2:13 TPT
I will amplify your voice as you build. I will magnify My Name in your life as you build. My peace will settle in on you. Even though like Nehemiah, I have called you and sent you to build in a time of conflict — still what you build from the ground up will rise higher and higher.
So I answered them and said to them, “The God of heaven will give us success; therefore we His servants will arise and build.
Nehemiah 2:20a NASB1995
In ancient days I used these tools. Now I Am turning them into your hands — to build, to expand, to lift and to rise. It’s time for the builders to arise. It’s time for those who have a building anointing to arise. It is time for those upon whom My grace for building has come to pick up your tools and get to work. This is a building season, and accelerated building is part of the grace of the materials, tools and weapons I have laid at your disposal.
Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; Lengthen your cords And strengthen your pegs. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left. And your descendants will possess nations And will resettle the desolate cities. “Fear not, for you will not be put to shame; And do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced; But you will forget the shame of your youth, And the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more. For your husband is your Maker, Whose name is the Lord of hosts; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth
Isaiah 54:2-5 NASB1995
Don’t hold back. Dream bigger. Build higher, wider, longer and farther than you ever imagined. Don’t say, “this is too extravagant.” Don’t say, “this is too big.” Build it according to the drawings I have placed in your heart and the nudging of My Spirit to go higher, farther, wider. Will I not be faithful to fill it? Build beyond what you think you can build. Build the dream I have placed in your heart, not according to your own understanding. My grace to build, My material grace to build is here for this special season. Use it. Seize it. And build.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord help me to move by Your great weighty grace and build all that You have put in my heart. Help me to not be stingy and not hold back because of fear or doubt. I want to build to the fullness of what Your Spirit is saying by Your grace. Thank You for Your great grace Lord. I will use it, and I will build something that brings honor and glory to Your Name.
- Declare, O Lord our God, let your sweet beauty rest upon us. Come work with us, and then our works will endure; you will give us success in all we do.
Psalms 90:17 TPT - Decree, The Lord is dropping weighty, tremendous grace into the lives of those He has called to build in this time. This is His material grace with which I will build. I will not build according to convention or the expectations of man. I will build according to the plans the Lord has put in my heart which far exceed natural means and natural understanding. With His grace, I will build something that brings glory, honor and praise to His Name and reflects His great faithfulness in my life.
