Psalm 72
Joel 3
“Let the nations stir themselves up and march to the Valley of Yahweh’s Judgment. There I will sit in judgment on all the surrounding nations.”
Joel 3:12 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Sovereign One True Living God say,
I stir up the waters for My purposes. I judge the nations and their rulers and leaders. This is a time of a sifting. This is a time of great sorting. My Spirit sees it all, and I hover over it all. But decisions being made now by nations will determine their path ahead. This is the time of choosing life or death, the blessing or the curse.
Multitudes! So many multitudes in the Valley of Decision! For the day of Yahweh is near in the Valley of the Verdict. The sun and moon grow dark, and the stars no longer shine. Yahweh roars from Zion, and his voice thunders from Jerusalem; heaven and earth tremble. But Yahweh will be a shelter for his people, a faithful fortress for Israel.
Joel 3:14-16 TPT
Many nations will choose correctly, but some will not. Some will dig in their heels in resistance to My Spirit, and that leads to a greater sifting. As a man reaps so shall he sow. The same is true for a nation. The hearts of those who are with me in those defiant nations — I see, and I will spare. But they are in the midst of the sifting, and they will feel its effects. All of this is leading to a crescendo of united hearts and minds overflowing with praises to the King. The sifting is for a purified worship. The sorting is to bring unity in honor to My Name.
Distant kings will surrender and come with their gifts from every continent and coastland; they will offer their tribute to you. O King of kings, they will all bow before you. O King of kings, every nation will one day serve you.
Psalms 72:10-11 TPT
This is the time of a decision point for the nations. And those who choose Me, who love Me, who desire Me will be blessed as they make that choice, as they worship, as they refuse their former ways and join as one in united worship and praise of their Sovereign King.
Blessed be the Name of the Lord, for He is holy, and his fame and his praise is known throughout the Earth.
How to Respond
- Worship the Lord in purity, and pray for the nations to forsake their former ways and choose Him.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for Your justice and righteousness. Thank You for being unchanging and holy, worthy of worship, glory, honor and praise. Lead my nation back to You Lord. Lead our leaders to lay their crowns at Your feet. Stir up the hearts of the people and draw us all back to You, the One True Holy God. And let us leave our old ways, old values, old mindsets and every bit of sin and darkness behind us as we align ourselves with our Sovereign King.
- Declare, O God, make the king a godly judge like you and give the king’s son the gift of justice too. Help him to give true justice to your people, honorably and equally to all. Then the mountains of influence will be fruitful, and from your righteousness prosperity and peace will flow to all the people. — Psalms 72:1-3 TPT
- Decree, The Lord is moving on the hearts of His people, and He is moving on the hearts of rulers and leaders. He is sifting and sorting, and He will bless those who choose Him and who choose the blessing, and He will persist in sifting those nations who do not. The Lord is stirring up a united people set apart for Himself who worship and praise Him as one.
