Isaiah 33
2 Corinthians 4
Yahweh, be gracious to us, for we wait for you. Be our strength every morning and rescue us when troubles come. The nations retreat at the sound of your roaring voice. The nations scatter as you arise in your majesty.
Isaiah 33:2-3 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Places of grace and rest are erupting in fire. It is My ignition. It is My activation. It is My transformation. I Am making the ones who followed My pillar of fire in the desert, the ones who lived by every breath from the mouth of God — I Am making them become like the One they followed so diligently, so closely. I Am making them into holy pillars of fire that cannot be snuffed out, cannot be extinguished and will burn brightly for all to see.
Sinners in Zion are afraid, and the godless are gripped with panic, saying, ‘Who can dwell with such an all-consuming fire? Who can live in the presence of the never-ending flame?’ Only those who walk with integrity and speak what is true, who despise even the thought of cheating the poor, and do not accept a bribe, nor plot violence, nor contemplate doing evil — they will live safely on the heights and make their safe place the mountain strongholds, with bread in steady supply and water assured.” In this high place, your eyes will see the king in his stunning beauty and gaze upon his broad domain.
Isaiah 33:14-17 TPT
The enemy and those with him will not be able to withstand this continual burning, this fire that cannot be extinguished, dimmed or snuffed out. As the enemy ponders what to do and plots a way to extinguish or overthrow these burning ones, to put a wet blanket on their flames, I will l turn the heat up hotter and hotter. He will not be able to approach them. He will not be able to come near.
We reject every shameful cover-up and refuse to resort to cunning trickery or distorting the Word of God. Instead, we open up our souls to you by presenting the truth to everyone’s conscience in the sight and presence of God. Even if our gospel message is veiled, it is only veiled to those who are perishing, for their minds have been blinded by the god of this age, leaving them in unbelief. Their blindness keeps them from seeing the dayspring light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the divine image of God. We don’t preach ourselves, but rather the Lordship of Jesus Christ, for we are your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let brilliant light shine out of darkness,” is the one who has cascaded his light into us—the brilliant dawning light of the glorious knowledge of God as we gaze into the face of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:2-6 TPT
These burning ones will have eyes only for Me. They will speak the truth, and it will set the captives free. This is a time of My burning ones being ignited, transformed, activated and then, even then I will turn the heat up, and they will burn hotter and hotter like the noonday sun.
The darkness that the enemy planned does not stand a chance. My burning ones will burn so brightly. What the enemy meant to take you into the dark, his plan for a new dark age will be lit up more brightly than the noonday sun. The reversal starts now. The turnaround starts now. The boomerang starts now. The darkness will not have its way.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord, and have eyes only for Him.
- Pray, Lord I give You permission to ignite me. Cause the fire of Your Spirit to erupt inside me and upon me. I want to roar with the roar of great fire, and I want to burn hotter and hotter, brighter and brighter. I want to be part of setting the captives free. I want to be part of Your plan to bring great light and bring a reversal that destroys the enemy’s plan to send us into a new dark age.
- Declare, You will look back on the fears of your past and say, “Now, where is the scholar? Where is the adviser? Where is the one who numbers those who are maturing?” You will no longer see the defiant foreigner who speaks a strange, incomprehensible language. Set your gaze on Zion, the city where we gather for Yahweh’s feasts. Your eyes will see Jerusalem as a quiet, pleasant place. It is a secure dwelling, permanent and unmovable, not like a tabernacle that must be taken down, its pegs pulled up, and transported. Glorious Yahweh will be there for us in a land with broad rivers and life-giving streams, where the hostile, majestic ships will not sail. The Lord Yahweh is our Judge, our Lawgiver, and our King; he will save us completely!
Isaiah 33:18-22 TPT - Decree, The Lord’s ways are higher than my ways, and His thoughts are higher than my thoughts. He prepared His burning ones in the wilderness and in our place of grace and rest. He is igniting us with power, fire and truth for service. We will speak the words of truth with power, and the truth we release will set the captives free. This is a time of the Lord’s great reversals, turnarounds and boomerangs that will kneecap the enemy’s every plan to bring us further into darkness.
