Jeremiah 31
“At that time,” Yahweh declares, “I will be the true God of every family of Israel, and they will be my very own people.” Yahweh says: “My people who survived the slaughter and the sword found grace in their difficult wilderness. I am bringing Israel to her rest.”

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Tectonic shifts are here — shifts in power, shifts in operations and operational capacity — complete shifts in how things get done. Beautiful brilliant lights are shining, and like magnets I Am drawing them together to accomplish My purposes on the earth.
Listen, nations, to the word of Yahweh. Proclaim it on the distant coastlands, saying, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him. Like a shepherd guards his flock, Yahweh watches over his people.’ For Yahweh has ransomed the people of Israel and rescued them from an enemy stronger than themselves. They will come, singing for joy on the heights of Zion, and the goodness of Yahweh will make them radiant. Yahweh will bless them with grain, new wine, olive oil, flocks, and herds. They will be prosperous and grow like a well-watered garden, with no reason to be discouraged.
Jeremiah 31:10-12 TPT
Tectonic change is coming. It is on your doorstep — change for the whole world. You are accustomed to marginal change. The big changes you have experienced will look and feel marginal compared to this worldwide shift that is coming — that is right at your front door. This is a shift that comes from total systems reset. Entire systems that you recognize — ones that operate for distinct purposes — you will see totally different systems replace them. The whole order of the world as you know it will be replaced. Many major systems are being decommissioned, shut down, powered off completely and replaced with new systems. These new systems reflect the Son on the surface, on the outside. And on the inside they are very orderly and compartmentalized. Connectivity, complete truth in what can be seen with the naked eye, and immutability are built into the design. On the inside, this compartmentalization leads to personal autonomy and privacy. You direct your own level of privacy. No one else does it for you. Each compartment is like a fortress. Each individual space created in this new system gives equal security, equal privacy and equally imposing protection to the ones to whom dominion of those individual spaces is assigned.
“Look, the days are coming when the people will rebuild Jerusalem for me,” declares Yahweh. “They will rebuild it from the northeast Tower of Hananel (God has been gracious; also significant in the Israelites’ return home from captivity in Babylon) to the northwest Corner Gate (crucial for Jerusalem’s security and prosperity). And the measuring line will stretch out farther to the Gareb Hill (dirty, scabby, shabby – possibly once a lepers’ colony), turning then to Goah (roaring, bellowing – also the camp of the Assyrians). And the entire Hinnom Valley (site of idolatrous child sacrifices and the name for hell in the New Testament), with its bones and ashes, and all the fields as far as the brook Kidron (divine judgement and separation), to the corner of the Horse Gate (military/battle readiness, strength) eastward, will be consecrated and sacred to Yahweh. Jerusalem will never be overthrown or destroyed again.”

The immutable characteristics inside of these new systems and structures reveal your Father in Heaven. It is by design. My Kingdom come. My will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Worldwide change is here. It’s at your doorstep.
The following is my rough interpretation of Jeremiah 31:38-40: The boundary lines of the New Jerusalem (both the spiritual and physical manifestation of the reign the Lord Jesus on the earth) will be established by the history of God’s graciousness — notably including the return of His people to freedom and sovereignty from Babylonian captivity and control. This will be the starting point from which the entirety of this renewed (spiritual and physical) city will be built. This New Jerusalem will extend to a guarded and secured place for commerce that is crucial to the city’s security and prosperity. The New Jerusalem will completely overtake the places that have been marked by sickness, isolation, persecution, torment, robbery, murder, idolatry and death. The place of judgement and separation will remain outside the boundary lines of this place. But the city will include a guarded, secured place of strength and military readiness. All of the places within these boundaries that the Lord has determined will be restored and made holy to the Lord once and for all.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, show me what to do to prepare and position myself well for this tectonic change. Help me to understand Your instruction and obey fully and quickly. Thank You that the change that is coming is going to reflect You and establish individual sovereignty for the people.
- Declare, The character of God is a tower of strength, for the lovers of God delight to run into his heart and be exalted on high.
Proverbs 18:10 TPT - Decree, Great and glorious is the Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come. The increase of His Kingdom knows no end. Some trust in horses. Some trust in chariots, but I trust in the Name of the Lord my God. Tectonic shifts are coming to the systems that govern the world order as we know it. Old systems are being decommissioned and powered down completely. New systems will replace them that reflect the Son and reveal the heart of God the Father. They will offer individual sovereignty to the people.
