Psalm 145
My heart explodes with praise to you! Now and forever my heart bows in worship to you, my King and my God! Every day I will lift up my praise to your name with praises that will last throughout eternity. Lord, you are great and worthy of the highest praise! For there is no end to the discovery of the greatness that surrounds you.
Psalms 145:1-3 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Grace upon grace is being poured out on My faithful ones who delight in Me, who delight in worship. I’m pouring out every grace in generous measure into their lives, onto their heads and into their laps. You will taste this sweet outpouring of My goodness in greater measure than you can hold or contain. It will be so thick and present and overwhelming in your life that it will overflow and drip out from you everywhere you go.
Our hearts bubble over as we celebrate the fame of your marvelous beauty, bringing bliss to our hearts. We shout with ecstatic joy over your breakthrough for us. You’re kind and tenderhearted to those who don’t deserve it and very patient with people who fail you. Your love is like a flooding river overflowing its banks with kindness. God, everyone sees your goodness, for your tender love is blended into everything you do. Everything you have made will praise you, fulfilling its purpose. And all your godly ones will be found bowing before you. They will tell the world of the lavish splendor of your kingdom and preach about your limitless power. They will demonstrate for all to see your miracles of might and reveal the glorious majesty of your kingdom.
Psalms 145:7-12 TPT
My lovers have been hidden long enough. Now I am marking them with the sweet outpouring of My grace, so they can taste and be drenched in My goodness. It begins in the waiting place, in the meeting place of covenant with Me. And you will go out to the world from this place coated, drenched, sopping and sticky with My grace that manifests as My sweet, sweet unmatched goodness coating and flowing from your life. Everything you touch and do will leave behind the residue and evidence of My sweet goodness to you. This is the kind of grace I’m pouring out now. It is thick, heavy and I’m generously pouring it out to My lovers in that place where they’re waiting on Me, where they come to meet with Me in covenant.
You are the Lord who reigns over your never-ending kingdom through all the ages of time and eternity! You are faithful to fulfill every promise you’ve made. You manifest yourself as kindness in all you do. Weak and feeble ones you will sustain. Those bent over with burdens of shame you will lift up. You have captured our attention and the eyes of all look to you. You give what they hunger for at just the right time. When you open your generous hand, it’s full of blessings, satisfying the longings of every living thing. You are fair and righteous in everything you do, and your love is wrapped into all your works.
Psalms 145:13-17 TPT
As My thick, unmatched, unmanufacturable grace covers them and drenches them here, they will go out saying, “surely the Lord’s goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life. He’s been so good to me. All can look and see that He’s poured out such grace that every blessing and overwhelming sweet goodness covers me, surrounds me and is with me everywhere I go.”
How to Respond
- Spend time in the secret place ministering to and waiting on the Lord.
- Pray, Lord thank You for this rich, unmatched, generous outpouring of Your grace into my life. Thank You for bringing your lovers from the time of obscurity to being visibly marked by Your love, Your grace and Your sweet, overwhelming goodness. Help me to live a life that stirs up a holy jealousy for knowing You, for hearing Your voice and for being in Your presence.
- Declare, You draw near to those who call out to you, listening closely, especially when their hearts are true. Every godly one receives even more than what they ask for. For you hear what their hearts really long for, and you bring them your saving strength. — Psalms 145:18-19 TPT
- Decree, This is the time of the thick, rich, generous, overwhelming outpouring of the Lord’s grace on His lovers who love to worship Him and who love to wait for Him and host His presence. This thick outpouring of His grace will drench us and mark us with His sweet goodness in such a profound way, that the residue of what He has done for us will be left behind on everything we touch and everywhere we go. All who see me will clearly know the difference that the Lord’s grace and presence has made in my life.
