Proverbs 3

My child, if you truly want a long and satisfying life, never forget the things that I’ve taught you. Follow closely every truth that I’ve given you. Then you will have a full, rewarding life. Hold on to loyal love and don’t let go, and be faithful to all that you’ve been taught. Let your life be shaped by integrity, with truth written upon your heart. That’s how you will find favor and understanding with both God and men— you will gain the reputation of living life well.
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Grace is in the place of preparation. Grace is in the kitchen of your heart and in the active place of preparation as well. I Am drawing you out to do a new thing, and internal and external preparation is required. Prepare your heart and mind in the secret place with me. And do the work, the due diligence to be prepared to move forward and take action.

My ways and instructions are simple. They may not be easy, but they are simple. Follow the simple path and the simple instruction I have given you. You will learn more when you get there. You will learn more as you take each obedient step forward into this new place, into the new assignment, into this new mantling and into this new mission field.

Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make.
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The battle to move forward is in your mind, and there is some wrestling with questions in your heart. Set those aside. Put those in the lower place, because they must bow to My Word, My instruction, My voice. Simply move forward in obedience. Don’t dwell on questions or the present or the past. Seek Me for wisdom, strategies and insight for the future, for the new place, the new assignment. Don’t bog down our beautiful quiet place with questions that don’t need to be answered, with justifications for why you can’t move forward and in trying to gain understanding of things that will not advance you in this time. Sweep that all aside. Sweep it away as fall leaves on the front porch of your mind. And come to Me with a clean, quiet, pure heart for what lies ahead and how to pursue it well, how to plan and build a strategy and approach for the new thing, the new place, the new office that I Am inviting you to take.

Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong. Then you will find the healing refreshment your body and spirit long for.
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Sacrifice is required to advance. But My joy will be your strength and the brightness of My light in you will strengthen and empower you to go out, to show up, to serve and to take on the new leadership role to which I have called you, to which I have promoted you. It’s your job now to assume the role. Take on the responsibility. Focus on what I say matters, and do not get distracted with conversations and instructions that will not advance you. Don’t worry about the image you will project. I will clothe you. I will provide you with what you need as you show up and spend time with Me. And you will be My image bearer. Why should you care what anyone else thinks? This is My instruction to you. The only one responsible for taking action and obeying this instruction is you.

How to Respond

  • Receive the Lord’s grace to prepare your heart and mind, and seek Him for practical wisdom in how to move forward with the instruction He has given you.
  • Pray, Lord, I repent for delay, for trying to figure everything out before moving forward and for making excuses. Delayed obedience is disobedience. Help me to joyfully make the sacrifice You are inviting me to make to move forward into this new day, this new beginning, this new role, this new office and this new mission field. Help me to shake off questions, concerns and my need to understand, so I can have a clean and quiet mind and heart to commune with You and get the wisdom and instruction I need to move forward. Thank You for Your correction and for Your faithfulness Lord. You are so good.
  • Declare, My child, when the Lord God speaks to you, never take his words lightly, and never be upset when he corrects you. For the Father’s discipline comes only from his passionate love and pleasure for you. Even when it seems like his correction is harsh, it’s still better than any father on earth gives to his child. Blessings pour over the ones who find wisdom, for they have obtained living-understanding. As wisdom increases, a great treasure is imparted, greater than many bars of refined gold.
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬-‭14‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, I will not stay stuck where I have been. I will move quickly, decisively and in full obedience to the instruction of the Lord for the new day and new role and new place into which He is calling me. I will not lean on my own understanding and stay stuck in my past ways of doing things. I will, in all my ways acknowledge Him, and He will give me the fresh vision and the strategy and strength I need to move forward and succeed.
