Today’s Reading:
Matthew 13
Psalm 67
Jesus left the crowds and went inside the house where he was staying. Then his disciples approached him and asked, “Please explain the deeper meaning of the parable of the weeds growing in the field of wheat.” He answered, “The man who sowed his field with good seed is the Son of Man.”
Matthew 13:36-37 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
My grace is coming upon the great mixed multitudes — grace that unites and divides. This is a sifting time, and My grace is here to draw together those great mixed multitudes who have been divided by false narratives, who have been divided by geographical boundaries or notions, who have been divided by denomination, philosophy, or economic strata. I Am drawing together, uniting and causing many, great, vast mixed multitudes to unite and sing from the same song sheet, even as I sift out those sown to suck up resources and bring division.
And the field is the world. The good seeds I sow are the children of the kingdom realm. The weeds are the children of the Evil One, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest points to the end of this age, and the harvesters are God’s messengers.
Matthew 13:38-39 TPT
I Am dividing out the tares among you. This is a dividing time too. The division will finally be true. It will not be unclear as it has been. It will not be speculation only. It will be clear. Where you have seen through a foggy glass and have been unsure of who is with you and who is against you, you will know it clearly in this time. And some of those who are with you will surprise you, will cause you great belly laughs of delight, and some will make you uncomfortable — but they are with you. And those tares who have been sown among you, I Am uprooting and they will be seen for the invasive species that they are. They will be seen as they stand alone along with many others like them. As they are tossed on the pile to be burned, they will be recognized as now dead weeds who were stirring strife and division and soaking up nutrients meant for the true — nutrients and space meant to bring greater health and fruitfulness to the field of My planting.
As the weeds are bundled up and thrown into the fire, so it will be at the close of the age. The Son of Man will send his messengers, and they will uproot everything out of his kingdom. All the lawless ones and everything that causes sin will be removed. And they will throw them into the fiery furnace, where they will experience great sorrow and anguish. Then the righteous will shine like the brightness of the sun in their Father’s kingdom realm. If you’re able to understand this, then you’d better respond!”
Matthew 13:40-43 TPT
This is a separating of the wheat from the tares and the sheep from the goats. It will be made starkly clear among you in your personal circles and professional circles, and it will be made clear on the national and world stage. This is a sifting season. What divided will be removed. False divisions will seem to be erased because of their absolute unimportance. And the ire of those once falsely divided will turn to the tares being uprooted and thrown out from among you. Rejoice in the unity and the clarity of division I Am bringing. It will change everything. Love your neighbor, and be so very excited over the clarity and truth I Am bringing.
How to Respond
- Praise the Lord for bringing truth, clarity and for healing false division. Praise Him for clearing out the tares that have been soaking up nutrients and taking up space meant for those planted by the Lord.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for Your work among us. Thank You that You have angels on assignment pulling up the tares and removing these invasive, destructive ones from among us. And thank You that You are bringing clarity, so we can see that many, many, many more are with us than are against us. Thank You that You are bringing holy unity and division, so we can clearly understand who the enemy among us is and has been.
- Declare, No wonder the peoples praise you! Let all the people praise you more! The harvest of the earth is here! God, the very God we worship, keeps us satisfied at his banquet of blessings. And the blessings keep coming! All the ends of the earth will give him the honor he deserves and be in awe of him!
Psalms 67:5-7 TPT - Decree, Great is the faithfulness of the Lord. He leads us into all truth, and He is leading us into a sifting time of great unity and great division. He is bringing together many mixed multitudes who had been falsely divided; and He is uprooting the enemies who have been lurking in our midst, taking up space and air and nutrients meant to bring greater fruitfulness to those planted by the Lord. I will rejoice in the unity and in the clarity that the Lord’s true division brings.
