Today’s Reading:
Deuteronomy 28
Luke 1
Psalm 23
Psalm 98

All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the Lord your God: “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. “Blessed shall be the offspring of your body and the produce of your ground and the offspring of your beasts, the increase of your herd and the young of your flock. “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. “The Lord shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way and will flee before you seven ways. The Lord will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God gives you. The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, as He swore to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways. So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will be afraid of you. The Lord will make you abound in prosperity, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your beast and in the produce of your ground, in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. The Lord will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. The Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you only will be above, and you will not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of the Lord your God, which I charge you today, to observe them carefully, and do not turn aside from any of the words which I command you today, to the right or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭28‬:‭2‬-‭14‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Tick, tock. Tick, tock. The dam will soon burst. The dam of My goodness is bursting forth in your life. You will be completely overwhelmed by the torrent, the flood, the overwhelming force of My goodness in your life. You will be drenched in it, submerged in it, swimming in it, and you will dance full of glee. You will say as Mary did, “who am I that the Lord would favor me, His humble servant with such honor?” But I have looked on you with favor.

And Mary sang this song: “My soul is ecstatic, overflowing with praises to God! My spirit bursts with joy over my life-giving God! For he set his tender gaze upon me, his lowly servant girl. And from here on, everyone will know that I have been favored and blessed. The Mighty One has worked a mighty miracle for me; holy is his name! Mercy kisses all who fear him, from one generation to the next. Mighty power flows from him to scatter all those who walk in pride. Powerful princes he tears from their thrones and he lifts up the lowly to take their place. Those who hunger for him will always be filled, but the smug and self-satisfied he will send away empty. Because he can never forget to show mercy, he has helped his chosen servant, Israel, keeping his promises to Abraham and to his descendants forever.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭46‬-‭55‬ ‭TPT‬‬

You will sing of your joy to the world. You will declare the wonders of My love. You will declare the testimony of My goodness. You will speak forth boldly and even sing the testimony of King Jesus, the Christ who has saved you, rescued you from the pit, from death and the grave and eternity in hell. You will sing of His wonders, His love, and that the increase of His peace and His government know no end.

O sing to the Lord a new song, For He has done wonderful things, His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him. The Lord has made known His salvation; He has revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations. He has remembered His lovingkindness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; Break forth and sing for joy and sing praises.
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭98‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Align your heart with Me, so when the dam bursts forth, so when the powerful flow of My goodness in your life bursts forth, you will be rightly positioned in the flow. You will be positioned to delight and not to be overtaken, not to be gasping for air and unsure of what to do. But you will embrace it with full joy, knowing that this is a miraculous sign and a wonder — that all of My promises that have been held back are now coming through and coming true. They are coming, and they will completely overtake you. You will say, “surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life.” This is the time of My favor. Position yourself properly in Me to receive it.

How to Respond

  • Spend time with the Lord and in His Word. Allow Him to adjust your position and perspective, so you can receive the blessings of His goodness.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit adjust me. Re-position me. Place me right where You want me, so I don’t miss a thing and so I am not out of place or out of alignment when the dam of Your goodness bursts forth in my life. I want to be in perfect alignment with You, standing right where You want me to be.
  • Declare, You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬
  • Decree, A miraculous and overwhelming sign of the Lord’s goodness is about to burst forth and overtake my life. I will be positioned properly, so I can receive and so I am not taken out by the very miracles that are meant to bless me. In response I will sing, rejoice, dance and testify of His goodness, His wonder-working power, His miracles and especially of how King Jesus saved me. That’s the greatest miracle of them all.
