Today’s Reading:
Psalm 8
Psalm 34
Psalm 105
Psalm 121
Go ahead and give God thanks for all the glorious things he has done! Go ahead and worship him! Tell everyone about his wonders! Let’s sing his praises! Sing, and put all of his miracles to music! Shine and make your joyful boast in him, you lovers of God. Let’s be happy and keep rejoicing no matter what. Seek more of his strength! Seek more of him! Let’s always be seeking the light of his face. Don’t you ever forget his miracles and marvels. Hold to your heart every judgment he has decreed. For you are his servants, the true seed of Abraham, and you are the chosen ones, Jacob’s sons.
Psalms 105:1-6 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Magnify My Name. Magnify My Name. As you do, the whole world will come into proper perspective. The truth will reshape the world. As you magnify Me in your own sight, truth is exalted. Truth is exalted, and all that has been distorted comes into proper alignment and correct form. It becomes clear what it truly is and what it had been distorted to appear to be. The way to uncover these truths, the way to see these truths exalted and reordering, re-shaping and righting the picture is to Magnify My Name.
Lord! I’m bursting with joy over what you’ve done for me! My lips are full of perpetual praise. I’m boasting of you and all your works, so let all who are discouraged take heart. Join me, everyone! Let’s praise the Lord together. Let’s make him famous! Let’s make his name glorious to all.
Psalms 34:1-3 TPT
Truth magnifies. Where aspect ratios were off, truth reveals the great and even minor distortions that have misshaped the world. Don’t focus too much on the truth or the lies. Focus on Me. As you do, all will come into proper perspective. Magnify My Name. Set your heart and your gaze on Me, and I will set you free. I Am the truth, and I will set you free. I will set the world free. The way through dark and murky waters is to magnify My Name. The way through uncertain times and stormy conditions is to magnify My Name.
Yahweh, our Sovereign God, your glory streams from the heavens above, filling the earth with the majesty of your name! People everywhere see your splendor. You have built a stronghold by the songs of children. Strength rises up with the chorus of infants. This kind of praise has power to shut Satan’s mouth. Childlike worship will silence the madness of those who oppose you.
Psalms 8:1-2 TPT
Build up a stronghold of praise as you exalt Me to the highest place. You will find that I exalt you to a place of protection, greater authority, greater perspective, greater power and greatest advantage. Your stronghold of praise will be a refuge and a great vantage point from which to wage incredibly effective, laser-focused warfare. It’s always true that exalting Me, magnifying My Name will restore right perspective, will help you to properly see the truth. And the truth always sets you free.
How to Respond
- Get your eyes and your heart focused on the Lord and magnify Him with your praise, thanksgiving and by recounting testimonies of His faithfulness.
- Pray, Holy Spirit bring to mind moments and situations where You have come through for me in miraculous ways — so I can praise You, so I can reposition my heart and mind in gratitude and expectation that You are more than able to do that again in every aspect of my life. Thank You that You have never failed me, left me or lied to me. Thank You for Your great faithfulness and for Your breakthrough.
- Declare, I look up to the mountains and hills, longing for God’s help. But then I realize that our true help and protection is only from the Lord, our Creator who made the heavens and the earth.
Psalms 121:1-2 TPT - Decree, the Lord is always faithful, and He has always come through for me. I will lift my eyes and magnify the Lord, the Creator of Heaven and Earth. He is my rescuer, my redeemer, my strong tower and the lifter of my head. He has saved, protected and rescued me more times than I can count or even fathom, and I will exalt Him to the highest place. I will magnify His Name in all the Earth. I will praise until my perspective on the world comes into right order, and I will war effectively from the exalted stronghold of praise.
