Today’s Reading:
Leviticus 2
2 Corinthians 9
Psalm 112

Here’s my point. A stingy sower will reap a meager harvest, but the one who sows from a generous spirit will reap an abundant harvest.
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Make sure there is not mixture in the offering. I desire your offerings to come from a pure heart and to be brought with sincere faith that I Am the Faithful One. I Am the Worthy One, the Trustworthy One who will never fail, leave you or forsake you.

Let giving flow from your heart, not from a sense of religious duty. Let it spring up freely from the joy of giving—all because God loves hilarious generosity! Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything —every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The fruit is in your offering. The truth of who you say I Am, who you believe I Am is in your offering. Are you giving in faith? Are you giving in joy with gratitude? Do you acknowledge that everything you have was created by Me and comes from Me — the Father of Heavenly Lights and the Giver of every good and perfect gift in whom there is no shifting shadow or turning? I desire for you to give from joy, to make your offering as you gush forth with gratitude, because you know I Am faithful and I never fail. Fear has no place in your offering. Reticence and resentment have no place in your love offering to Me. My Kingdom is one of abundance, and I desire truth and faith in your offering. Bring your offering with a thankful heart. Thanksgiving should mark your life. And watch how I pour out a blessing so big you cannot contain it —pressed down, shaken together and pouring over.

Just as the Scriptures say about the one who trusts in him: Because he has sown extravagantly and given to the poor, his kindness and generous deeds will never be forgotten. This generous God who supplies abundant seed for the farmer, which becomes bread for our meals, is even more extravagant toward you. First he supplies every need, plus more. Then he multiplies the seed as you sow it, so that the harvest of your generosity will grow. You will be abundantly enriched in every way as you give generously on every occasion, for when we take your gifts to those in need, it causes many to give thanks to God.
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This is what I have in store for My lovers, for those who give generously, lavishly from the abundance of the secret place of communion with Me. Don’t hold back, and neither will I hold back. Give freely, and you will be positioned to receive freely. If all that you are is truly Mine, has truly been given to Me, live in the freedom of hilarious generosity and see what I won’t do. I Am the God who loves to outdo even your wildest expectations, and I love to out-give and out-bless My lovers who live a lifestyle of generousity.

How to Respond

  • Pray, Lord give me a fresh perspective on finances and on giving. Help me to see everything I have as a gift from a generous God who loves me. Help me to hold loosely to all material things, and help me to be a lover of Yours who lives and responds to Your Spirit with hilarious generosity.
  • Declare, Praise God for his astonishing gift, which is far too great for words!
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭15‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, I am a child of the King of kings and Lord of lords. His Kingdom has no lack, therefore I live in overflowing abundance. I am not a pauper, and I will not live like a miser. I am one who receives freely from the God of all abundance, and so I give generously at His guiding in ways that bless His heart. I am a vessel for the generosity of my God. I will allow His gifts to flow freely, powerfully and abundantly through my hands.
