The one I love calls to me: Arise, my dearest. Hurry, my darling. Come away with me! I have come as you have asked to draw you to my heart and lead you out. For now is the time, my beautiful one. The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth.
‭‭Song of Songs‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬-‭12‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
The times of your greatest desires are upon us. The longings of your heart, your cries in the darkness, in the secret place, in the quiet place and in the lonely place have not gone unheard. They have been released before Me as a great symphony. The sounds have come up, the prayers have come up, the worship through the pain has come up as a great offering, and I have heard it all. I have seen every tear. I have felt the depths of your disappointment. Your beautiful sound of worship through it all, your love for Me through it all has come at a cost and has won you a great reward.

Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me. For you are my dove, hidden in the split-open rock. It was I who took you and hid you up high in the secret stairway of the sky. Let me see your radiant face and hear your sweet voice. How beautiful your eyes of worship and lovely your voice in prayer. You must catch the troubling foxes, those sly little foxes that hinder our relationship. For they raid our budding vineyard of love to ruin what I’ve planted within you. Will you catch them and remove them for me? We will do it together.
‭‭Song of Songs‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬-‭15‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Steadiness in the face of defeat, in the face of trials that seemed unending, of tribulations and very bumpy roads — this is the way to My heart. This is the way of My beloved. Take My hand. Join Me in this partnership as I guide you away from that which has troubled you, that which has been assigned by the enemy to harm you and torment you and bring you pain. Take My hand, and let Me guide you away from there, away from that. Allow Me to lead you in wholeness, in purity, in all-encompassing, overwhelming love into a new day.

Who is this one ascending from the wilderness in the pillar of the glory cloud? He is fragrant with the anointing oils of myrrh and frankincense — more fragrant than all the spices of the merchant. Look! It is the king’s marriage carriage— the love seat surrounded by sixty champions, the mightiest of Israel’s host, are like pillars of protection. They stand ready with swords to defend the king and his fiancée from every terror of the night. The king made this mercy seat for himself out of the finest wood that will not decay. Pillars of smoke, like silver mist— a canopy of golden glory dwells above it. The place where they sit together is sprinkled with crimson. Love and mercy cover this carriage, blanketing his tabernacle throne. The king himself has made it for those who will become his bride. Rise up, Zion maidens, brides-to-be! Come and feast your eyes on this king as he passes in procession on his way to his wedding. This is the day filled with overwhelming joy— the day of his great gladness.
‭‭Song of Songs‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬-‭11‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This is that time. That time is now. Wear your garments of purity and praise. Leave the weights, the sorrows, the troubles and fear behind. Allow Me to lead you in lightness, in brightness and in love into a new day of My favor where your joy will be made full.

How to Respond

  • Let go of the pain and disappointment that you have held onto. Release it to the Lord, and take His hand instead.
  • Pray, Lord thank You for being so faithful through the dark times, the wilderness, the trials and disappointments. You have never left me nor forsaken me, and You are the One in whom I place my trust and hope. Help me to shed the weights and the vestiges of disappointment, frustrations, trials, anguish and pain. Help me to take Your hand and be led — in purity, lightness, faith and love into the new day You have prepared.
  • Declare, I’ve made up my mind. Until the darkness disappears and the dawn has fully come, in spite of shadows and fears, I will go to the mountaintop with you — the mountain of suffering love and the hill of burning incense. Yes, I will be your bride.
    Song of Songs‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, I will not cling to disappointments, frustrations, trials or pain. I am laying them all down and taking the Lord’s hand as He guides me into this new day He has prepared for me. The difficulties and trials are behind me, and I will not allow them to take me out, to define me or to diminish my faith that the Lord is coming through for me. I will see every promise of the Lord fulfilled in my life.
