Tell me, do you want to go back to living strictly by the law? Haven’t you ever listened to what the law really says? Have you forgotten that Abraham had two sons; one by the slave girl, and the other by the freewoman? Ishmael, the son of the slave girl, was born of the natural realm. But Isaac, the son of the freewoman, was born supernaturally by the Spirit—a child of the promise of God! These two women and their sons express an allegory and become symbols of two covenants. The first covenant was born on Mount Sinai, birthing children into slavery—children born to Hagar. For “Hagar” represents the law given at Mount Sinai in Arabia. The “Hagar” metaphor corresponds to the earthly Jerusalem of today who are currently in bondage.
Galatians 4:21-25 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living, Active, All-Seeing God say,
Charges are coming. Changes are coming. New assignments and new alignments are coming. They have already started to flow into and onto the scene of your life. In times past, the approach has been that in order to build something new, the old must be torn down first. But in this time, I Am running a parallel process. This parallel process and these parallel structures exist so that people have a choice. They can choose Mt. Ebal or Mt. Gerazim. They can choose to stay in the old or move to the new. Some maybe outside of all of these structures, and they will have a clear choice to make too. But I Am charging you to be among those building the new, even while the old stands — even while the old mocks you, ignores you, rejects you and throws stones at you.
The old structure and the old wineskin cannot perceive the need for something new, cannot perceive why the old has run its course, cannot perceive that the grace has gone from the former way and the former place, the former house.
In contrast, there is a heavenly Jerusalem above us, which is our true “mother.” She is the freewoman, birthing children into freedom! For it is written: “Burst forth with gladness, rejoice, O barren woman with no children, break through with the shouts of joy and jubilee, for you are about to give birth! The one who was once considered desolate and barren now has more children than the one who has a husband!”
Galatians 4:26-27 TPT
Grace magnified, grace multiplied is coming up on the hands of the builders — those who are faithful to the Nehemiah call, and those who are faithful to the Apostolic call. The gates and the walls need rebuilding, and entirely new structures must be built inside of them. Some are called to reestablish the ancient protections and ancient boundary lines. Others are called to build the new structures, the new constructs inside of those walls, inside of the rebuilt ancient fortifications created for the protection and the safety of My people. This is a time for a revelation of inheritance.
Dear friends, just like Isaac, we’re now the true children who inherit the kingdom promises. And just as the son of the natural world at that time harassed the son born of the power of the Holy Spirit, so it is today. And what does the Scripture tell us to do? “Expel the slave mother with her son! The son of the slave woman will not be a true heir— for the true heir of the promises is the son of the freewoman.
Galatians 4:28-30 TPT
Revelation is being released on the importance and the meaning behind the ancient boundary lines, behind the ancient walls and gates and fortifications and watchtowers that once stood. They have become a haunt for hyenas, jackals and ostriches, but My people and My grace are running them out of this set aside land. This is a land of inheritance, and the squatters and wild beasts are being removed to outside the city walls.
Sons and daughters are rising as the revelation of inheritance — of all to which they are rightful heirs is understood. As they realize it, they are rising up to apprehend. They are rising up to take it by force. They are rising up to reverse the steal. All that has been stolen, they will wrestle back. My grace is on them to receive it all back. And more will be added besides. A great plunder will be added besides.
It’s now so obvious! We’re not the children of the slave woman; we’re the supernatural sons of the freewoman—sons of grace!
Galatians 4:31 TPT
These are days of the dawning of the revelation of all that was bought and paid for, all that has been ceded and lost. And a great mighty effort to restore and apprehend one’s rightful inheritance will upset the status quo, will upset some money changers’ tables, but My children will have all that is theirs. They will hold it in their hands.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord thank You that this is a new time with a new way forward. I want to be one who perceives the need for the new thing, and is obedient to build as You call. Give me a revelation of my full inheritance Lord. Help me to understand all that You bought, all that is rightfully mine as an heir of the King. Show me how to take it all back from those who stole it; and help me to drive out those who have been squatting in the place You set aside for me.
- Declare, And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has. We will experience being co-glorified with him provided that we accept his sufferings as our own. —Romans 8:17 TPT
- Decree, I will rise up and build. As the Lord instructs, I will find my place, and I will choose to reestablish the ancient boundaries and build and be a part of the new thing the Lord is doing. I choose the blessing, and I reject the curse. I will walk in the revelation of inheritance that the Lord is imparting. I will no longer be one who is dominated, stolen from and oppressed. I am rising up as a son/daughter of the Most High King, as a joint-heir with King Jesus, and I am taking back all that was stolen. I am removing the thieves and the squatters from the place of my inheritance.
