Today’s Reading:
Proverbs 21
Hebrews 10
Psalm 145
1 Peter 5
It’s as easy for God to steer a king’s heart for his purposes as it is for him to direct the course of a stream.
Proverbs 21:1 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Great grace is at the turn. The next turn. I Am turning your heart like water, and I’m making you more like Me. Great grace is at the turn. The turn is the point where things change from the way they have been into something new. This is a place of adventure and freedom where you will ride on the waves of My Spirit and delight in the waves of My Glory.
Live carefree before God; he is most careful with you.
1 Peter 5:7 MSG
When you make this turn, as you make this turn, adventure will open up for you. New choices and change will open up for you. And where you once would have said no or shied away or backed away or even used work as an excuse, My great grace is here, and it is rushing from behind you to propel you forward. It’s enabling you to take the leaps, enabling you to say yes, enabling you to jump forward into the great unknown. That is the great grace that is meeting you at this turn. You don’t have to manufacture it. You will jump, and you will barely know why other than you felt peace and the pleasure of My Spirit, so you said yes. You will leap, and even as you are mid-leap you will think, “wow, this is so unlike me, but here I go. The Lord is in it, why should I hold back? Why should I reverse course? Why should I hesitate?” There’s no need to hesitate when My Spirit and My pleasure are all over something. My Spirit within you will leap to join another manifestation of My Presence that is presented. That manifestation of My Presence will not be static; it will be moving quickly and determinedly ahead. So you will go.
But we are certainly not those who are held back by fear and perish; we are among those who have faith and experience true life!
Hebrews 10:39 TPT
This is a time for adventure and fun. Don’t allow your feet to be like lead. Make your feet light. Make your face ready to meet the opportunities, changes and adventures that are just around this turn. And don’t slow down. We can accelerate through this turn and get to the fun part faster. Let go of your way. Submit and yield to My guiding, to My lead. This is why I want you to shake off the weights. You have to make this turn light, not weighted down — so you can leap, so you can run, so you can jump in, so you can say yes.
How to Respond
- Shake off the weights that have been weighing you down and holding you back unnecessarily.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for being my guide. Thank You for turning my heart like a channel of water. Help me to trust and obey You as You lead me into this big turn in life. Help me to let go of what has been and how I have been. Help me to leap forward as Your Spirit leads. I want to rush into the adventure, fun and moves of Your Glory that You are making available to me. I don’t want to shrink back, make excuses or hesitate. I’m ready to have fun.
- Declare, You are fair and righteous in everything you do, and your love is wrapped into all your works. You draw near to those who call out to you, listening closely, especially when their hearts are true. Every godly one receives even more than what they ask for. For you hear what their hearts really long for, and you bring them your saving strength.
— Psalms 145:17-19 TPT - Decree, The Lord is moving, and He is leading me into a big turn that will open up new opportunities, adventure and fun for me. I will not hide in my work. I will not shrink back or hesitate. If the Lord is in it, I will say yes. I will leap without understanding as long as His Spirit is leading me. And I will experience new levels of joy and adventure and wonder with Him.
