But you are God’s chosen treasure —priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world. For at one time you were not God’s people, but now you are. At one time you knew nothing of God’s mercy, because you hadn’t received it yet, but now you are drenched with it!
1 Peter 2:9-10 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living, Moving & Active God say,
Your time in the cocoon felt like tight quarters. It felt confining, suffocating even at times. For some it felt like prison. Well I Am taking you from the cocoon to the palace. This is the time of Josephs arising. This is the time of ‘out of nowhere’ promotions for those who have been faithful in the dark, in the isolation, in the hidden place of growth and refining. For some it has felt like the dark night of the soul. But this is a time of catapulting that will appear to be from the cocoon to the palace, from grub worm, from caterpillar to king.
The Lord looks over us from where he rules in heaven. Gazing into every heart from his lofty dwelling place, he observes all the peoples of the earth. The Creator of our hearts considers and examines everything we do.
Psalms 33:13-15 TPT
This is a time of dramatic turnarounds, promotions and reversals that have been held back for My purposes but which have now and are now coming into time. This is the time when I catapult and launch many hidden ones from the dark places of obscurity, of faithfulness, of refining and isolation into the tops of the mountains, into rocky terrain on which to dwell and over which to reign. I Am launching stewards who know who they are and whose they are. I Am launching those who will be faithful with what I Am entrusting them materially and internally.
May the blessed name of God be praised forever and ever, for wisdom and might are his alone. He alone controls the changes of times and seasons. He enthrones and dethrones kings, he imparts wisdom to the wise, and he pours out revelation-knowledge to those with understanding. He alone reveals deep secrets and mysteries and knows what lies in darkness, for he radiates glory-light all around him. You are the God worshiped by all my ancestors; I give you thanks and praise, for you have given me wisdom and power!
Daniel 2:20-23a TPT
New gifts and unseen skills are rising to the surface for these particular callings, assignments and roles. You will be amazed at what I cause to come out of you, to blossom and flourish from within you; and you will understand why the enemy has come so hard against you in the areas he has. It’s because he could see that these giftings were ones with power — even ones you did not see or recognize and very few others may have seen them in you either. The giftings and the skills and the insights I draw out of you as you step into this place of reigning, as you step into this new measure of authority and this new role as a king will astonish and astound you. Someone will ask you a question, and you will simply know the answer; and you will know instantly that it came from Me.
The Lord alone is our radiant hope and we trust in him with all our hearts. His wraparound presence will strengthen us. As we trust, we rejoice with an uncontained joy flowing from Yahweh! Let your love and steadfast kindness overshadow us continually, for we trust and we wait upon you!
Psalms 33:20-22 TPT
This is a time that requires great humility and a very measured approach. No matter how fast things seem to be moving, you set the pace of your own response. You set the tone of your voice and the words that flow from your tongue. Kings are never in a hurry. Time waits for them. Listen to Me My child, I Am entrusting you with something great, important, wonderful and delightful. I Am entrusting you with something powerful over which to reign, over which to steward well. Do it in union with Me. Do it in unbroken communion and ongoing communication with Me. And if you do, you will succeed at levels you could have never even believed. Don’t get in a hurry. Don’t shoot off a response. Be measured. Be thoughtful. Respond deliberately, and bring answers from your place of communion with Me. I Am taking you from the cocoon to the palace.
How to Respond
- Seek the Lord for understanding and discernment about the place He is positioning you or the one into which He is launching you.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that the time of isolation, hiddenness, and growth in the darkness is not forever. Thank You for Your perfect plan and perfect timing. Help me to transition well, and help me to live and reign in unbroken communion with You.

My turnaround and new assignment will be one that He has masterfully equipped me for — even if I can’t yet see it or comprehend it. I will live in unbroken communion with the Lord so that I can succeed at great levels in the place He is positioning me.
