We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectation onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!
Hebrews 12:2 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God of All Creation say,
Jesus is Christ. Trust and obey. Trace the line back to Me — the line of success. Every true success has its origination point in Me. I Am the Author and Perfecter of your faith. And who is he that overcomes the world?
You see, every child of God overcomes the world, for our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the world. So who are the world conquerors, defeating its power? Those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
1 John 5:4-5 TPT
Faith is what overcomes. And your faith originates in and is perfected by Me, the hope of Glory, the King of Shining Glory. Trust comes from faith. Faith is the evidence of things hoped for, the substance of things unseen. And faith originates in Me. I Am in the Father and the Father is in Me. He who has seen Me has seen the Father. Be entwined as one with me.
And He said to him, “Stand up and go; your faith has made you well.”

The word translated as “well” in this passage and more than 100 others in which Jesus healed or delivered someone from an affliction is the Hebrew word Sozo, which is better translated, to be set free.
Abirim Publications Commentary on Sozo: Saving someone means feeding and sheltering them in a non-metaphorical way; making them safe and secure and allowing them to regain their dignity, self-respect and autonomy. If this person is into learning things (because not everybody is) then a true savior teaches his people practical knowledge that will help them to stay healthy and free. Saving someone means to break the chains that hold them and setting them free. Freedom is a person's most precious quality and it's for freedom that Christ has set us free (GALATIANS 5:1).
Faith overcomes the world. Faith triumphs. Faith brings success, and faith begins and is perfected, refined and fine-tuned in Me. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.
Faith motivated Abraham to obey God’s call and leave the familiar to discover the territory he was destined to inherit from God. So he left with only a promise and without even knowing ahead of time where he was going, Abraham stepped out in faith. He lived by faith as an immigrant in his promised land as though it belonged to someone else. He journeyed through the land living in tents with Isaac and Jacob who were persuaded that they were also co-heirs of the same promise. His eyes of faith were set on the city with unshakable foundations, whose architect and builder is God himself.
Hebrews 11:8-10 TPT
Faith is the bedrock of understanding the way of the Kingdom. Without faith it is impossible to please Me. Believe in Me, and I will believe in you. Trust in Me for all things, and I will make your path straight.
Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go.
Proverbs 3:5-6 TPT
It is your faith that has made you well. From the earth you came, and to the earth you will return. It’s faith that empowers you to make a difference while you are here.
For God sees everything you do and his eyes are wide open as he observes every single habit you have.
Proverbs 5:21 TPT
Your faith has made you well. Rest easy in Me. Your faith has made you well. Trust and obey, because without faith it is impossible to please Me. And faith is the currency of the Kingdom. These are days that require great trust, great obedience and unshakeable, immovable faith. Have faith in Me.
How to Respond
- Press into the Lord. Stir up your most holy faith by recounting testimonies in scripture and in your own life.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for being the great revealer. Reveal more of who You are to me. Help me to know You more deeply and be even more certain of who I am in You and the purposes You have for my life. I want to walk by faith, not by sight. And I want to be one whose life is pleasing to You.
- Declare, And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who passionately seek him.
Hebrews 11:6 TPT - Decree, Jesus is Christ. He is the Author and Perfecter of my faith. I can have faith in Him, because He has given me the gift of faith as a starting point. I will stir up my most holy faith, and I will anchor my trust deeply in Him. I will live by faith and not by sight. He has given me the faith to triumph over the world.
