Today’s Reading:
Deuteronomy 28
Isaiah 64
Psalm 72
The Lord will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God gives you.
Deuteronomy 28:8 NASB1995
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Something solid, strong, sturdy and organic — something built by hand — is going to manifest in your life. The window of Heaven is over the open door. This is a window that can’t be closed by man’s hands. False open doors may come, meant to confuse. They are fine for the masses, but they are not what I have for you. My storehouse of blessings that I have kept for you is just beyond these open doors. And when you see it, it will be striking. You will recognize it as sturdy, weighty, sure and true. It may look like it is for someone else. It may look as if it is locked up and secure, belonging to someone else. But I will open the door for you.
The Lord will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. The Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you only will be above, and you will not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of the Lord your God, which I charge you today, to observe them carefully,
Deuteronomy 28:12-13 NASB1995
You must follow My leading, and make the approach. You will find that this is the place of blessing that I have built and kept secure and protected for you. It’s not for everyone, but it is for you. If I didn’t keep the door shut, how could I open it for you? This is an open door season, but I’m not calling you to enter into places that are wide open to everyone. I Am calling you to pass them by, to go beyond those places and to approach the storehouse of blessings I have for you. You won’t think it’s for you. You won’t recognize that it’s for you. But as you approach in purity and faith, you will find that every blessing I have had stored up for you is here. And I will open the door for you.
For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear, Nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him.
Isaiah 64:4 NASB1995
Keeping the door closed has protected and guarded these hidden blessings. It has kept them out of the hands of others. These are not for them. These are for you. This is all for you. I have kept the door closed, kept the place of provision hidden until now, so that when you were ready, when you approached, I could open it for you. This is your season of blessing. This is the time of hidden things being made plain. You must pass by the open doors that are available to everybody; and go just a little bit further to see this place of strength, leadership and rugged truth that I have built and secured just for you. Just for you. It is the entry place and the storehouse of every blessing that I have designed and reserved for you. Pass the open doors and approach the closed one, so I can open it for you.
How to Respond
- This is a time of being immersed in the blessing that is the Presence and the favor of the Lord. Move forward in that, and don’t take it for granted.
- Pray, Holy Spirit lead me to the place of stored and hidden blessings that You have for me. I don’t want to get distracted by opportunities that are not what You have reserved and set aside for me. I want to be in the place designed by Your hands and reserved and protected just for me.
- Declare, Your favor will fall like rain upon our surrendered lives, like showers reviving the earth. — Psalms 72:6 TPT
- Decree, This is the time of hidden and stored up blessings being revealed. It will require passing by distractions and opportunities that are not for me. It will require approaching an unfamiliar and even imposing place with humility, purity and truth. The Lord will open the door for me, because He has set aside this tremendous but unassuming place as the entry point to every blessing for which I have been seeking, praying and waiting.
