Today’s Reading:
Psalm 68
John 11
Job 42
O God, my King, your triumphal processions keep moving onward in holiness; you’re moving onward toward the Holy Place! Leaders in front, then musicians, with young maidens in between, striking their tambourines. And they sing, “Let all God’s princely people rejoice! Let all the congregations bring their blessing to God, saying, ‘The Lord of the fountain! The Lord of the fountain of life! The Lord of the fountain of Israel!’ ”
Psalms 68:24-26 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God of all truth say,
The fountain of life. The fountain of living water. The lamb who takes away the sins of the whole world. His Name is Jesus. Jesus is in the resurrection business. He is in the dead-raising business. He is in the tomb-opening, life-giving business. What was lost can be found, and not only that — but what was dead can come alive in the Name of Jesus. This is resurrection time. This is the time of the turnaround. What was lost is being found, and dead things are awakening into vibrant, pulsating, light-emitting life. What is being resurrected is not as it was when it died or even when it was first conceived. It is more powerful, more vibrant, brighter, and it emits life and energy from the resurrection kiss it received from King Jesus.
Martha said to Jesus, “My Lord, if only you had come sooner, my brother wouldn’t have died. But I know that if you were to ask God for anything, he would do it for you.” Jesus told her, “Your brother will rise and live.” She replied, “Yes, I know he will rise with everyone else on resurrection day.” “Martha,” Jesus said, “You don’t have to wait until then. I am the Resurrection, and I am Life Eternal. Anyone who clings to me in faith, even though he dies, will live forever. And the one who lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
John 11:21-26 TPT
He is calling dead things forth as He did with Lazarus. Things that appear too dead, too far gone, already in the process of final decay — these He is calling forth with a shout and commanding them to live. And this now resurrected once dead, decaying, too far gone thing is bursting with life and is operating in greater power than before it died. It’s operating with and in and through the very breath imparted to it by the shout and the kiss of King Jesus.
Draw near to the heart of Jesus. He is always in the mode and always operates in the power of resurrection. But this is a time, a moment, a season ripe and teeming with the possibility of resurrection. Step into it. Be drawn into the arms of King Jesus. Be held by Him, comforted by Him. Mourn, and He will mourn with you for what has been lost. But then watch as He steps forward and cries out with a great, earth shaking, hell shaking shout and calls that which was dead to come forth.
Jesus looked at her and said, “Didn’t I tell you that if you will believe in me, you will see God unveil his power?” So they rolled away the heavy stone. Jesus gazed into heaven and said, “Father, thank you that you have heard my prayer, for you listen to every word I speak. Now, so that these who stand here with me will believe that you have sent me to the earth as your messenger, I will use the power you have given me.” Then with a loud voice Jesus shouted with authority: “Lazarus! Come out of the tomb!”
John 11:40-43 TPT
Dead things are coming alive in the Name of Jesus, at the command of those in the embrace of King Jesus. This is a time of resurrection. Step into the arms of King Jesus, and watch what has been dead in your life be called forth in power. Watch it come alive.
How to Respond
- Run into the arms of Jesus. Bring to Him all that is dead and seems impossible.
- Pray, Holy Spirit, You are the very power that raised Jesus from the dead. Thank You that Your Spirit is moving now in power and for resurrection. Jesus, I give You all that seems hopeless, impossible and long-since dead in my life. You are the resurrection and the life. Command with Your shout Jesus that these dead things come alive and are even more incredible than they were before they died.
- Declare, I know that You can do all things, And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.
Job 42:2 NASB1995 - Decree, Dead things come alive in the Name of Jesus. This is a resurrection, time, season and moment. I will not let it pass me by. I agree with the Lord’s desire to restore and bring dead things back to life — those that were once great and those that were aborted by the enemy before they could come to light. All dead things in my life — born and unborn, come alive in the Name of Jesus!!
