Moses assembled all the elders of Israel. He said, “Select a lamb for your families and slaughter the Passover lamb. Take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the bowl of blood and smear it on the lintel and on the two doorposts. No one is to leave the house until morning. God will pass through to strike Egypt down. When he sees the blood on the lintel and the two doorposts, God will pass over the doorway; he won’t let the destroyer enter your house to strike you down with ruin.
Exodus 12:21-23 MSG
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
There’s power in the blood. This is a Passover time. We are entering a Passover season. Apply the precious blood of the Lamb, King Jesus, to the doorposts of your home. Cover your household, your going out and your coming in with the blood of Lamb, King Jesus.
His blood protects, it shields and it washes sin and makes men clean. His blood restores purity, innocence and uprightness — righteousness. This is a time where purity and holiness are required, and they can only be found, can only be made possible in and through the blood of Jesus.
Look! Here comes Yahweh with his mighty power and glory! He comes in his awesome splendor with thick clouds! Consumed with anger, his lips are filled with fury, and his words are a devouring fire! His breath is as overwhelming as a flooding river reaching up to the neck. He sifts the nations in his sieve of destruction and places a bridle in their jaws that causes them to wander. But you will have a joyous song throughout the night, as one celebrating a holy, consecrated feast. You will have gladness of heart, as one celebrating to the sound of a flute and dancing up the mountain of Yahweh, the Rock who shelters Israel!“

This is a dichotomy of times. What takes place outside the covering of the blood of Jesus will make for very heavy times. But under His shielding is Goshen. It is peace, protection, covering, joy, laughter and even prosperity. Come under the covering of His precious blood. Cover and protect your whole household. This is a dangerous and volatile season. But full shielding, sheltering, covering and protecting is available to you, as you come under the blood.
And Yahweh will cause everyone to hear his awe-inspiring, majestic voice. He will open their eyes to see his mighty power coming down with raging anger and consuming fire! His power will descend in cloudburst, thunderstorm, and hail. And when his rod strikes the Assyrians, they will be terror-stricken by the mighty voice of Lord Yahweh. Every stroke of Yahweh’s punishing rod will be to the sound of cymbals and strumming harps. God himself fights them in battle with dancing! From long ago, the king’s fiery burial place has been prepared, stacked high with plenty of firewood to fuel the flame. Yahweh’s breath, like a stream of sulfur, kindles it.
Isaiah 30:30-33 TPT
Paint and anoint your doorposts with the blood of Jesus, and come under His covering of protection and shielding from all harm. This is the way, walk in it. I have made a way that is filled with light, with My glory, My covering and My Presence. Remain hidden in Me. This will be a weighty season, but it is light under My covering and in My glorious Presence.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord. As a prophetic act of alignment, anoint the doorposts of your home with anointing oil in the model of the first Passover, and speak the blood of Jesus over your household and each one under your covering.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for providing a means of protection and covering even in times of great uncertainty, shaking and volatility. Protect my household and family. Shield us from all harm and from the weightiness of the what’s taking place in the world. Thank You for the blood of Jesus, the most powerful substance in all of Creation. It covers me and protects me. It has washed me fully and made me as white as snow.
- Declare, All the Israelites did exactly as God commanded Moses and Aaron. That very day God brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt, tribe by tribe.
Exodus 12:50-51 MSG - Decree all of Psalm 91 over your household and family:
When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence. He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse. His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm. You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you. Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil be launched against you. Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed, you will remain unscathed and unharmed. You will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment, for they will be paid back for what they have done! When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us? God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm. If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you and keep you from stumbling. You’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness, trampling every one of them beneath your feet! For here is what the Lord has spoken to me: “Because you loved me, delighted in me, and have been loyal to my name, I will greatly protect you. I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will feel my presence in your time of trouble. I will deliver you and bring you honor. I will satisfy you with a full life and with all that I do for you. For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation!”
Psalms 91:1-16 TPT - Decree, I and my household come under the covering, protection and shielding of the blood of Jesus. Whatever happens outside may be heavy, may be serious, may be shaky and volatile, but the Lord has given me a protected place in Him. None of the weightiness, destruction, sickness or devastation will touch me or my family. The blood of Jesus has saved me and my household, and it continues to save and protect us from all harm. Thank You Jesus for household salvation.
