Today’s Reading:
2 Corinthians 6
Lamentations 3
Psalm 24
Jeremiah 29

Dear, dear Corinthians, I can’t tell you how much I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life. We didn’t fence you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives aren’t small, but you’re living them in a small way. I’m speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively!
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭11‬-‭13‬ ‭MSG‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Open wide the gates of your mind. Open wide the gates of your heart. I long to be with you and to show you great and mighty things that you cannot know. It requires you to break off that rusty lock and chain that has your mind bound up in the world of possible and impossible, of practical and feasible, of fathomable and attainable. Those are not words that dwell with Me. These are not realities or concepts that have their place in Me. I Am the God of the expansive, of the everlasting, of the supernatural. No boundaries and no limitations exist for Me. My Kingdom is ever expanding, and My words are ever creating.

So wake up, you living gateways! Lift up your heads, you doorways of eternity! Welcome the King of Glory, for he is about to come through you.
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭24‬:‭7‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Center your mind and your thoughts on this: I Am the God of the universe. I created it all, from the single pea, to the mountains of the Yucatán, to the river gorge of the Grand Canyon, to the stars in the sky, to the single blade of grass. I created it all. It wasn’t hard for Me. Why do you put limitations and parameters and caveats on what you think I can do, will do or am able to do? I can exceed your wildest expectations without batting an eye. Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Dwell with Me, and I will dwell with you. Search for Me, and I will make Myself more and increasingly more known to you. These are the days of great revealing. Revelation and uncovering will mark these days, and you have gotten in on the ground floor of that. So believe in Me. Expect Me to greatly surpass your wildest expectations.

Yahweh’s tender mercies have no end, and the kindness of his endless love is never exhausted. New, fresh mercies greet me with every sunrise. So wonderfully great is your faithfulness! I tell my soul, “Yahweh is my abundant portion. I need nothing more. So, I will put all my hope in him.”
‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭22‬-‭24‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Unlock and remove those rusty chains. Open that rusty latch wide, and let the King of Glory come in. I long to dwell with you, to be with you, to radically and even more radically transform you, and I desire to do things in your life — for you and in the world around you, in the territory I have given you — that will absolutely blow your mind. Open those rusty gates. Take them off the hinges if you dare. It’s time to lead a wide-open spacious life with nothing hindering free movement — no lock, no chains, no latch. Not even gates. Remove them all. Lay your expectations down, and get your hopes up. I will vastly surpass anything you could have imagined. But I need access, and you will need the room to move around freely, to expand and to build.

How to Respond

  • Pray, Lord help me to remove the hindrances that I have put in place to protect myself. Instead of protecting me, they are limiting me from the fullness of potential You have for me. Show me what they are, where they are; and let’s dismantle them together. I want You to come in, to have unhindered access to me — my mind, heart and life. And I desire to open myself up fully to the awe, wonder and mind blowing goodness of You.
  • Declare, Here’s what Yahweh says to you: “I know all about the marvelous destiny I have in store for you, a future planned out in detail. My intention is not to harm you but to surround you with peace and prosperity and to give you a beautiful future, glistening with hope. When you call on me and come to me in prayer, I will listen to your every word. If you reach out to me, you will find me when you search for me with all your heart. I will not disappoint you,” declares Yahweh. “All that you have lost, I will restore, and I will regather you from all the nations where I have scattered you. I will bring you back home to the land from which I exiled you,” declares Yahweh.
    ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬-‭14‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, The Lord is absolutely good. He has good plans for me, to prosper me, to give me a hope and a future. All of His ways are true and sure. I will remove every barrier of protection that I have erected in my mind and heart. Instead of protecting me, they are hindering me from God’s purposes. I will live openly, freely and in great expectation of the goodness of the Lord completely astonishing me.
