Isaiah 55
Psalm 18
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”

I heard the Spirit of the Living God of Truth say,
My grace is sufficient for your right now, and it will be sufficient to accept and receive the changes, the upgrades, the new wine skin that is to come. Your job is diligence. Your job is to devotedly care for the place that I have put you and the work I have put in your hands. You are right to recall the many victories that have been won in this place. You are right to recount the triumphs and the miracles and the blessings. You can still operate in the flow here. You can still bask in the glories and the fame that this place and this time has held in your heart.
For you will go out with joy And be led forth with peace; The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

A new season is planned. Major upgrades are planned. A new wineskin of greater magnitude is planned. But they will not take away from what has happened in this protected place of spiritual growth and power. What’s coming is the next level and the next generation of victories. The old victories will still be glorious and deserve their place of recognition, honor and praise. But the new victories will happen in a bigger place, on a larger stage. They will happen in a place of greater activity and hotter competition. The battles that will be won in this new place, this upgraded place will be greater than the old battles — but they will not diminish that place, that time, that training or those wins.
Good people will taste your goodness. And to those who are loyal to you, you love to prove that you are loyal and true. And for those who are purified, they find you always pure. But you’ll outwit the crooked and cunning with your craftiness.
Psalms 18:25-26 TPT
Make room for the new. The pride and love and honor you have for My Presence, My flow and the place you have met Me in the past is beautiful and right. But I need you to make room in your heart and your life for this massive upgrade, for this wider, bigger, more spacious place I Am calling you to steward. You will see astonishing and breathtaking victories in this place. But you have to make room for it.
Yahweh, what a perfect God you are! All Yahweh’s promises have proven true. What a secure shelter for all those who turn to hide themselves in you, the wraparound God. Could there be any other god like Yahweh? For there is not a more secure foundation than you. God, you have wrapped me in power and made my way perfect.
Psalms 18:30-32 TPT
My grace is more than sufficient for you to extend the tent cords and to strengthen the tent pegs of your heart to allow for this upgrade to come and to be established. It will replace the old, but it will not diminish what has happened in the old. This is for a greater move of My Spirit in your life. This is for a protected place of covenant that is expansive and has room for new life, new activities, new battles and many victories.
How to Respond
- Don’t cling so tightly to the now. Allow the Lord to move, to bring something new and to establish a great upgrade.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for the protected place of growth, blessing and victory You have had me. Help me to honor it and cherish it and praise You for every victory won here. Help me to not be so nostalgic that I stand in the way of the new thing You want to do. Help me to make room for Your upgrade to be established, so I can experience greater victories in this new and expanded place.
- Declare, Through you I ascend to the highest peaks to stand strong and secure in you. You’ve trained me with the weapons of warfare-worship; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You empower me for victory with your wraparound presence. Your power within makes me strong to subdue. By stooping down in gentleness, you made me great! You’ve set me free, and now I’m standing complete, ready to fight some more! —Psalms 18:33-36 TPT
- Decree, I will appropriately honor and cherish the place the Lord has had me and the incredible work He has done in my life. I will celebrate the victories of old and continue to give Him praise. I will also not stand in the way of the new, upgraded and expanded thing He wants to establish in my life in place of what I have come to know and love. I will make room for the new wineskin and the new place that will become home to even greater victories.
