Psalm 29
Lord Yahweh says: “I will take the highest branch from a cedar tree. I will break off from the very top a tender shoot and plant it myself on a high and lofty mountain. I will plant it on the highest mountain in Israel, where it will put out branches and bear fruit and grow into a stately cedar tree. Every kind of bird will find a home in it. Yes, in the shade of its branches the birds will make their nests.”

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
The seedling of lasting freedom is being planted — of strength, authority and incorruptible leadership that drinks from the fresh waters of salvation, the living springs that run from Mt. Zion. This is a peculiar time. What looks like a plucking up, a theft and a removal will actually be the setup for a great and important planting. The plucking up, theft and removal will be visible for all to see. But the planting will happen in secret. It will be hidden and obscure.
That removal, theft and plucking up the place of highest leadership, highest authority has taken place. It was not right, and the seedling that was planted — I the Lord caused to wither and fade.
As surely as I, Lord Yahweh, live, this king will die in Babylon! He will die in the country of the king who put him on the throne, because he despised his oath and broke the treaty he had made. Despite Pharaoh’s mighty army and numerous troops, he will not be able to save him in war. When the Babylonians build siege ramps and wooden towers to kill many in the city, the Egyptians will not lift a finger to help! For he despised his oath by breaking the treaty to which he had pledged himself, and he will not go unpunished.

I Myself have also plucked one from greatest heights and caused him to be planted by the glorious living waters. And this one will not falter or fail. This one will reproduce and drop a great many, a vast number of seeds of liberty into the soil as he grows and thrives and seems to overtake the scene. Yet he will remain humble, because My living waters are his source. This contrast will be seen by history, but it is coming into clear view even now. The seedling, the leadership stock, selected and planted by My Hand will multiply, will fill the earth with the seeds — the vast, vast countless seeds of liberty. While the seedling that was stolen, removed and plucked up, though it was planted by these same waters and given the same conditions — it cannot thrive. It has already begun to shrivel up and die.
“And all the trees of the field will know that I, Yahweh, am the one who brings the tall tree low and raises the low tree high, who withers the green tree and makes the withered tree sprout again. I, Yahweh, have spoken and have done it!”

What was planted by corruption cannot grow by My waters, cannot multiply and will die — unfruitful and before its time. The branch of My planting, of My choice will grow rapidly in strength, in stature and maturity, and its fruitfulness will be well supplied. Its seeds of liberty will ride on the winds and be carried throughout the earth. Choose the branch of My planting. This sapling will become a fruitful, strong leader who plants seeds of liberty near and far.
How to Respond
- Worship, fast and praise the Lord regarding His perfect will to be done for our nation.
- Pray, Lord give me eyes to see and a heart to discern what and who is being chosen and planted by You and what and who is being chosen by unworthy hands and planted in theft and corruption. Help me to align with those You hand select as leaders — whether I understand that or not.
- Declare, Above the furious flood, the Enthroned One reigns, the King-God rules with eternity at his side. This is the one who gives his strength and might to his people. This is the Lord giving us his kiss of peace.
Psalms 29:10-11 TPT - Decree, The Lord is bringing us to a place where a stark contrast is being shown to the world — one of the corruption, theft and planting of false leadership. And the other of the choosing by His Hand that leads to great fruitfulness and the tremendous spread of liberty. All will see the difference, and I will choose to be aligned with the selection and planting of the Lord.
