Today’s Reading:
Psalm 18
His love broke open the way, and he brought me into a beautiful, broad place. He rescued me—because his delight is in me! He rewarded me for doing what’s right and staying pure. I will follow his commands and I’ll not sin by ceasing to follow him, no matter what.
Psalms 18:19-21 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
I’m making swift changes, necessary and sometimes painful changes. Some changes will be clean breaks — swift, decisive, clean breaks. Things that have lain dormant in hearts as dreams, desires and hopes deferred, I Am causing to spring forth, to blossom and to fully manifest all at once. It will be like your heart is suddenly overflowing with the delight and fragrance of blessings. Your heart will feel like it is overcrowded and bursting with blessings. Such is this season. Such is this time.
For I’ve kept my eyes focused on his righteous words, and I’ve obeyed everything that he’s told me to do. I’ve been blameless before him and followed all his ways, keeping my heart pure. And so Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness, because I kept my heart clean before his eyes.
Psalms 18:22-24 TPT
Your heart is one that has good soil, fertile soil — soil that has been tended and cared for and made rich with the nutrients of My love, My Presence and My Word. Will My blessings not spring forth from here? Will My blessings not overtake you? Overwhelm you and amaze you? This is a stunning season. It is a season where I Am stunning My bride with My goodness, with My love and with My ferocity.
And so Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness, because I kept my heart clean before his eyes. Good people will taste your goodness. And to those who are loyal to you, you love to prove that you are loyal and true. And for those who are purified, they find you always pure. But you’ll outwit the crooked and cunning with your craftiness. To the humble you bring heaven’s deliverance, but the proud and haughty you disregard.
Psalms 18:24-27 TPT
The ferocity is the jealous and protective side of My love, and it is judging and calling forth a recompense. Your enemies will have to repay. And so I will heap original blessings on you and repayment and justice blessings will be added on top of those. This is a time of multiplied blessings, of favor, increase and justice. Recompense will be paid. Restitution will be made, and My people, My lovers will not only be blessed, will not only be free, but they will prosper. And beautiful sounds of songs of worship will rise up to Me. All of My people, My lovers will rejoice, and the earth will be filled with the sounds of praise to the God of All Glory, their Righteous Lawmaker, Judge and King.
How to Respond
- Worship the Lord and anticipate the blessings of His goodness in your life.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You Lord that You are moving to cause blessings to spring forth in my life that have felt long delayed. Thank You that You are judging the enemy and rendering a verdict that brings recompense and restitution for all that he has stolen, killed and destroyed. Let my life be a praise to You and a reflection of Your absolute goodness.
- Declare, Yahweh, what a perfect God you are! All Yahweh’s promises have proven true. What a secure shelter for all those who turn to hide themselves in you, the wraparound God. Could there be any other god like Yahweh? For there is not a more secure foundation than you. God, you have wrapped me in power and made my way perfect. Through you I ascend to the highest peaks to stand strong and secure in you.
Psalms 18:30-33 TPT - Decree, This is the season where the Lord is stunning His bride with His goodness. I will see hopes deferred and dreams long held suddenly spring forth and blossom. I will see the Lord rise up in ferocity and render judgement on the enemy’s destructive works and meddling in my life. He will demand recompense and restitution. I will experience blessings so great that it will feel as though my heart is overflowing, and then the Lord will add recompense and restitution on top of those. Great is the faithfulness of the Lord my God.
