Today’s Reading:
Psalm 68

Look! The mighty chariots of God! Ten thousands upon ten thousands, more than anyone could ever number. God is at the front, leading them all from Mount Sinai into his sanctuary with the radiance of holiness upon him. He ascends into the heavenly heights, taking his many captured ones with him, leading them in triumphal procession. And gifts were given to men, even the once rebellious, so that they may dwell with Yah. What a glorious God! He gives us salvation over and over, then daily he carries our burdens! Pause in his presence
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭68‬:‭17‬-‭19‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Righteousness is rising, and being made holy is becoming cool. This is a righteousness revolution. This is a rejection of perversion, of deceit, of filth and of all that is impure. You are watching the beginnings of a righteousness revolution, where the longing and the desire of this rising generation is for holiness and that all would be made pure. This is a time of a return to innocence. The pendulum is swinging sharply to the place where innocence, purity, love and holiness are what is desired.

O God, my King, your triumphal processions keep moving onward in holiness; you’re moving onward toward the Holy Place! Leaders in front, then musicians, with young maidens in between, striking their tambourines. And they sing, “Let all God’s princely people rejoice! Let all the congregations bring their blessing to God, saying, ‘The Lord of the fountain! The Lord of the fountain of life! The Lord of the fountain of Israel!’”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭68‬:‭24‬-‭26‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Seeking self first, seeking personal pleasure, personal gratification or even personal promotion are becoming extremely distasteful to this rising generation. They want truth. They want simple. They want the words and the way to be made plain. They are not here for lights and a show. They want nature. They want real. They want the pure and simple Gospel. All of the sugar, all of the adulterants, all of the manufacturing and production look like fools’ gold in their eyes. They have no desire for it. They have no interest in it. They want something pure. They want something true. They want something simple and honest and real.

Astonishingly, it’s the favored youth leading the way: princes of praise in their royal robes and exalted princes are among them, along with princes who have wrestled with God. Display your strength, God, and we’ll be strong! For your miracles have made us who we are. Lord, do it again and parade from your temple your mighty power. By your command even kings will bring gifts to you.
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭68‬:‭27‬-‭29‬ ‭TPT‬‬

These righteous ones rising will even be seen rejecting the screens for nature. They will be seen returning to human connection, to real conversation. They will write letters with their own hand again. So strong is this desire, this craving, this rumbling for what is real — it is this desire that is stirring this righteousness revolution. You will see holiness and purity on display and in action. The rising generation will model holiness for the older generations, and it will greatly shock, cut and challenge these older generations. This is the time of the youth leading the way. Those who seek the true way, Jesus, will be the ones who lead the next generation and all the generations alive at this time. Those who have hearts like that of King David will not only lead their generation, they will lead the nations of the world.

How to Respond

  • Pray, Lord thank You for turning the hearts of this rising generation to You, to purity, to simplicity and to holiness. Help me to be a source of encouragement, strength and wisdom to that rising generation. And change my heart and vision, so that I am aligned with them in spirit. I don’t want to be a stumbling block to this righteousness revolution in any way.
  • Declare, God, rebuke the beast-life that hides within us! Rebuke those who claim to be “strong ones,” who lurk within the congregation and abuse the people out of their love for money. God scatters the people who are spoiling for a fight.
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭68‬:‭30‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, Great is the faithfulness of the Lord. He has not abandoned us to a world filled with perversion, deceit, violence, lies and crime. He has stirred up and is stirring up a hunger and desire for righteousness, purity, innocence, truth and holiness in this rising generation. And they will lead the way for the whole world — in praise, in honor, in sincerity, simplicity and love.
