Today’s Reading:
Psalm 68
Isaiah 61
Psalm 91

O God, my King, your triumphal processions keep moving onward in holiness; you’re moving onward toward the Holy Place! Leaders in front, then musicians, with young maidens in between, striking their tambourines. And they sing, “Let all God’s princely people rejoice! Let all the congregations bring their blessing to God, saying, ‘The Lord of the fountain! The Lord of the fountain of life! The Lord of the fountain of Israel!’ ” Astonishingly, it’s the favored youth leading the way: princes of praise in their royal robes and exalted princes are among them, along with princes who have wrestled with God.
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭68‬:‭24‬-‭27‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Love Me with unmatched devotion. Have eyes only for Me. Sync your heartbeat up with Mine, so that what moves Me will move you. A great shaking is come. If your love cup is full and your heart is synced with Mine, if your eyes are trained on Me, if your spirit is attuned to My voice and My moves, you have nothing to fear and no cause for worry.

Let all the nations of the earth sing songs of praise to Almighty God! Go ahead, all you nations—sing your praise to the Lord! Pause in his presence Make music for the one who strides the ancient skies. Listen to his thunderous voice of might split open the heavens.
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭68‬:‭32‬-‭33‬ ‭TPT‬‬

A great shaking is come. In the natural things will shake. Demonic entities have been unleashed as chaos agents with fury, but I have provided a way for My lovers to be in perfect peace and to remain in perfect peace. What is your posture to be in the midst of this supernatural war? It’s song. Songs of hope. Songs of deliverance. Songs of the overcoming victory of Christ. Mud will be slung, and the storm will be ferocious. But your job is to remain at perfect peace. Stand and sing. Walk and sing. Work and sing. Kneel and sing. Bow low and sing. Rejoice and sing. Dance and sing. Song is your weapon in this hour. Ceaseless praise is a protective canopy that will cover your house. Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say rejoice.

Give it up for God, for he alone has all the strength and power! Proclaim his majesty! For his glory shines down on Israel. His mighty strength soars in the clouds of glory. God, we are consumed with awe, trembling before you as your glory streams from your Holy Place. The God of power shares his mighty strength with Israel and with all his people. God, we give our highest praise to you!
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭68‬:‭34‬-‭35‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Fury and pounding will come. Darkness and low visibility will come. But your light shines from within you, and your voice is a powerful weapon. Sing old songs. Sing new songs. Keep your heart, your faith and your perspective lifted by the words of the songs of praise, songs of victory, songs of the defeat of evil and songs of My righteousness rising as the noonday sun. Justice is coming. It’s also in the storm. Sing, praise. And we win.

How to Respond

  • Worship the Lord no matter what.
  • Declare Psalm 91 over your family daily.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for leading me where You want me to go and for guiding me into all truth. Thank You for the weapon of praise. Help me to wield it regardless of how things look around me. Help me to attach my faith to Your words of deliverance, help, protection and victory in this time.
  • Declare, Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh’s glory now streams from you! Look carefully! Darkness blankets the earth, and thick clouds covers the nations, but Yahweh arises upon you and the brightness of his glory appears over you!
    ‭‭— Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, I will rise and shine. I will sing praises to the Lord come what may. The enemy will be confused, interrupted, disrupted and thrown into disarray at the sound of the songs of praise to the Lord. Praise is our weapon in this storm. I will sing ceaseless praise to my King, and we will win.
