Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 43
2 Corinthians 2
“But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.”
Isaiah 43:1 ESV
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Agents for Christ are rising. His free agents are freer than anyone else, yet they call themselves bond slaves to Him. Their freedom is internal — spiritual, mental, emotional. Their freedom is relational, and they carry that freedom into their speech. Many of these agents are rising in what looks like dire circumstances — in the midst of oppression, darkness and tyranny. Jesus is their fourth man in the fire as they rise, as they say no, as they refuse to bow, to agree, to condone or sanction evil. He has not lost or left a single one of these agents who are rising in bold courage now, who are being met with showers of grace in times of difficulty, hardship, persecution and grave darkness now. He sees them all. He sees them every one, and He is with them, walking wth them in the fire.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”
Isaiah 43:2 ESV
This is how My remnant Church is rising and how it will be built — through the unapologetically bold and courageous words and actions of men and women who love Me and hate what is evil. Rise up oh Church. Rise up oh warriors of old. It’s time to arise and be heard. It’s time to make yourself and your position conspicuous. The time for hiding under the radar has gone. Now is the time to arise and shine. Now is the time to confront darkness, to openly reject darkness and to give it no room. The tide is changing, and the tide will continue to change — as good men and women rise in the Name of the one and only, Lord, Jesus Christ. This is how the remnant Church will be built and is already starting to be built — by the words and actions of the faithful standing up against darkness and tyranny.
“God always makes his grace visible in Christ, who includes us as partners of his endless triumph. Through our yielded lives he spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere we go. We have become the unmistakable aroma of the victory of the Anointed One to God —a perfume of life to those being saved and the odor of death to those who are perishing. The unbelievers smell a deadly stench that leads to death, but believers smell the life-giving aroma that leads to abundant life. And who of us can rise to this challenge?”
2 Corinthians 2:14-16 TPT
My grace is falling on these freedom agents now — for courage, for advancement, for inspiration and with an understanding of the truth. What I birth in them will not give way in the fire. It will blossom and bloom like a great rose in the midst of the fire, if they don’t give up. If they stand and remain standing, they will be named My Rose Fire ones because they rose and endured the fire — and the fragrance of Christ was released in a massive, overwhelming and uncontainable way — as they stood and withstood and were not moved.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for pouring out Your grace upon us. Help me to rise up in boldness as You put it in my heart to do so. Help me to be an unmistakable example of freedom in Christ and rejection of tyranny, evil and darkness. Thank You for leading me into all truth. Help me to rise in courage at the right time and for the right reasons. I want my courage to inspire others because they can clearly see that You are with me — even in the fire.
- Declare, “For unlike so many, we are not peddlers of God’s Word who water down the message. We are those sent from God with pure motives, who speak in the sight of God from our union with Christ.”
2 Corinthians 2:17 TPT - Decree, I will arise and shine. I will reject evil, tyranny and darkness. I will not be found cowering in the corner, hidden and below the radar. I will rise up in bold courage through the inspiration of the Lord. And I will speak the truth freely and without apology — come what may. If I walk through the fire, Jesus will be with me.
