Today’s Reading:
Psalm 27
Isaiah 10
Isaiah 26
Isaiah 42

“I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Rolling change is coming in. Get your house in order. Set your affairs in order. Wave after wave of change will come in, but you can be steady, firm and secure in the place that I have planted you. Booming change will thunder in, and it may frighten many. Don’t get into fear. Don’t get into doubt. Rest in Me. Have faith in me. Keep your confidence and expectation high in Me, and we will ride out this storm.

“The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, For in God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭26‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

I have hidden joys and surprises tucked into this time. Though this time will be unsettling, and it may feel as though you are rocking wildly at the mercy of a ship on rough seas, you are firmly chained to Me. You will not flail out of place or be jettisoned into the abyss. I Am your anchor, and we will ride out this storm together.

Wild changes will come — changes that will astonish you, blow your mind and about which you will think, “that was previously unfathomable. But look it is right here in black and white. It is right there in front of my face. It is right there in my mailbox, it’s in my bank account.” Changes are coming, and the violence of the storm will strip away power from darkness. Where dark forces held a grip tightly on many institutions, people and systems, the shaking, the upheaval will strip those institutions, systems and some people right from its grip. This is why I Am shaking everything that can be shaken — to loose the bonds of the captives and to set free those who have been imprisoned.

“Now in that day the remnant of Israel, and those of the house of Jacob who have escaped, will never again rely on the one who struck them, but will truly rely on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God. For though your people, O Israel, may be like the sand of the sea, Only a remnant within them will return; A destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭10‬:‭20‬-‭22‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

I Am untethering them from other masters, from false gods, from demonic and humanistic beliefs. And only what is true will remain. The proof of what is real will be found in what remains. I Am coming to set men free. I Am coming to set the world free. Stay in your rooms for a little while, until My fury has passed. Hide yourself in Me. The tempest is here.

How to Respond

  • Pray, Holy Spirit help me to know what to do to get my house in order and to be prepared to ride out this storm. Help me to keep my peace, and help me to stay at rest in You. In this time of chaos and confusion Lord, set me up to advance and overtake all that has beset me. Thank You for coming to strip this world from the grip of darkness, so You can set us free.
  • Declare, “Let them give glory to the Lord And declare His praise in the coastlands. The Lord will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭42‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬
  • Decree, Great is the Lord and worthy of all glory, honor and praise. He has come to set the captives free. He has come to strip the powers of darkness from positions of control. He has come to shake everything that can be shaken. I will abide in Him. I will be found at rest and in perfect peace in His Presence — even as the storm blows and swirls and the waves take us high and low. He is my anchor, my refuge and my strength — my very present help in times of trouble.
