Today’s Reading:
Psalm 16
Psalm 121

“Yahweh, you alone are my inheritance. You are my prize, my pleasure, and my portion. You hold my destiny and its timing in your hands. Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭16‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
It’s not time for ho-hum living. It’s time for joy. It’s time for the overflow of exuberant joy to spill forth out of your life wherever you go. Life is only as boring and dull as you make it. Get into joy. Get into delight. Steep your mind and heart in gratitude, and watch what happens. Everything changes. When you change your perspective, you change your life. When you change your frequency, when you raise your frequency — your expectations and what you are able to receive gets raised along with it. This is not an exercise in vanity — for how people see you being so positive while on the inside you feel like a martyr. No. This is an outward expression of an inward condition, firmly rooted in hope, love and the delight of Me. It’s eyes that can’t help but see My faithfulness and a heart that is boiling over with gratitude.

“The way you counsel me makes me praise you more, for your whispers in the night give me wisdom, showing me what to do next. Because I set you, Yahweh, always close to me, my confidence will never be weakened, for I experience your wraparound presence every moment. My heart and soul explode with joy—full of glory! Even my body will rest confident and secure.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭16‬:‭7‬-‭9‬ ‭TPT‬‬

You want change in your life? Change yourself. Change your heart posture. Change your mind’s pathways. Change the words you say only to you. And stir up joy. Watch as everything pivots on a dime. These are the days of My rainbow promises coming true. Optionality is here. What will you choose? Gratitude and thankfulness that leads you higher and causes you to advance? Or staring internally and only seeing what’s missing, so My blessings fly right over your head? Today’s a day to choose, not only who you will serve but how you will do it— with what faith? With what expectations of good? With what words? Will laughter greet your friends? Or sullenness and complaint?

Raise your vibe. Raise your thoughts. Raise your expectations, and watch how My promises collide with you at those great heights. This isn’t terrestrial life. This is life in the Spirit. That’s why it’s possible.

“Because of you, I know the path of life, as I taste the fullness of joy in your presence. At your right side I experience divine pleasures forevermore!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭16‬:‭11‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Come up higher, and I will show you great things from My vantage point. Don’t just hold onto hope. Allow it to take you higher. Permit it to make you look up. Good things are on the horizon. They will collide with you mid-air, as you ascend in the Spirit. Don’t stay earth bound. Let My Spirit take you up higher and higher.

How to Respond

  • Pray, Lord, help me to make the mindset shifts and the perception shifts that will change my life and my ability to perceive — so I am positioned to receive all that You have for me. Help me to get my hopes up, my expectations up, my eyes up and my vibe up. I want to be someone who is spilling over with exuberant joy because of my ongoing recognition of Your faithfulness.
  • Declare, ‘I look up to the mountains and hills, longing for God’s help. But then I realize that our true help and protection is only from the Lord, our Creator who made the heavens and the earth.’
    Psalms 121:1-2
  • Decree, I will not waste one more minute being sullen and downcast. I will stir up gladness. I will stir up joy. I will recount the faithfulness and the goodness of the Lord in my life. I will live in an unending mindset of thanksgiving — filled with peace, love and hope for the future.
