Also if you bring a grain offering of early ripened things to the Lord, you shall bring fresh heads of grain roasted in the fire, grits of new growth, for the grain offering of your early ripened things. You shall then put oil on it and lay incense on it; it is a grain offering. The priest shall offer up in smoke its memorial portion, part of its grits and its oil with all its incense as an offering by fire to the Lord.

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Do you know what was in the grain offering, what was in the system of offerings before the time of the New Covenant? Purity was required in the offering. Purity in the offering also meant purity must be in the fields and in the flock. Purity could not be in the offering of grain if the fields were defiled. Purity could not be found in the flock or the herd if the livestock were polluted. I require purity in the offering for the health of My people.
No man among the descendants of Aaron the priest who has a defect is to come near to offer the Lord’s offerings by fire; since he has a defect, he shall not come near to offer the food of his God. He may eat the food of his God, both of the most holy and of the holy, only he shall not go in to the veil or come near the altar because he has a defect, so that he will not profane My sanctuaries. For I am the Lord who sanctifies them.’”

Purity in the transaction purifies the whole and reflects purity in the whole. Transact with Me, offer to Me in wholeness, in purity, in gratitude, and I will sanctify and multiply the whole. If you come in purity, it reflects the purity of your storehouse, your lump, your bank account, your holdings. This was the point of the priests coming in absolute purity, bringing offerings of perfection and purity. This is how I not only purified the people, but it is how I was able to bless the people. Don’t be afraid or timid to bring your offering. Bring it in truth, in purity and in gratitude. Watch how I purify your household as a result. Watch how I clean the guilt and waywardness of those who sit at your table as a result.
So I will turn toward you and make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will confirm My covenant with you. You will eat the old supply and clear out the old because of the new. Moreover, I will make My dwelling among you, and My soul will not reject you. I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.

The offering is a gift. You think it is a gift to Me, and sure, it is. But I don’t need it. What it really is — is a gift to yourself through the cleansing, the purity, the turnaround and the blessing that I place on your household as a result. Let me bless your lump. Let Me redeem and restore those who have seats at your table. Be faithful in the offering. Bring it in purity, in love, in gratitude and in truth. And watch what I do for your household, your storehouses and your accounts. They will be purified and multiplied. That is what is behind the offering.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, show me what an acceptable offering looks Iike today. Help me to be generous and to come to You in purity, truth and gratitude. Thank You for Your system of offering, redemption and blessing. Help me to tap into it in faithfulness and with great joy.
- Declare, If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
—Joshua 24:15 NASB1995 - Decree, God’s Levitical system of offerings teach us an important lesson about how He purifies households and nations. I will be sensitive to His Spirit. I will be faithful to bring Him offerings in love, in truth, in purity and in gratitude. And I will receive the full benefits of the offering — redemption and purity for my household and multiplied blessings on my storehouses and accounts.
